All really nice people ,food, atmosphere and price!
A large Brasserie that disappoints. Tables are very close together, and the food is pretty mediocre. The wine list is good, and wine can be ordered by the glass, or pichet or bottle. Service is quite slow. In my opinion, large does t in this case equal good.
excellent experience at Zedel as ever- great food , lovely setting and the jazz quartet were an added bonus
Whilst not an intimate dining experience, this was one of the best meals I have had in a long time, and with such a central London location, very reasonably priced. I will certainly come again.
Brasserie Zedel is a gem: central, fabulous and with a heavy French accent, it is the perfect place to impress or have a swift bite before the theatre or cinema. And the best creme brulee as well
We went for dinner here with relatives from abroad. It was also my wife’s birthday. Very polite and attentive service, an interesting and varied menu and great food. We have been before and look forward to visiting again.
Spectacular dining room reminiscent of the luxurious settings of 1930s films. Great traditional French menu - with all the dishes we chose executed well. The service was a little slow but then it was the pre theatre rush so to be expected - the maitre d' did ask whether we had a deadline as we checked in which was a reassuring gesture.
Always good value and have visited on several occasions and the food is consistently reliable. We would all return to and recommend this restaurant.
This is my favorite restaurant in all of Europe!
I love The ambiance, great food, and wonderful value!
Fabulous environment and decor. This is a very popular restaurant. The biggest positive though was the incredibly thoughtful waitress who worked with my daughter's difficult allergy menu requirements and came up with a meal for her. Highly recommended.
Always a good experience.
Good food but the food was rushed not much time between courses. Finished eating within an hour disappointed
I think 15% charge service is too high. The overall value did not feel goos.
Brasserie française cachée à piccadily circus. Belle architecture, mais aussi bonne cuisine, bon service et rapport qualité prix intéressant. A conseiller.
This is an excellent restaurant to come to with friends. It is very centrally situated so easy for everyone to find. There are several menu options; all are good value & the quality of the food is excellent. The staff are charming as well.
Ambience and decor lovely. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive service, although waiter was rather clumsy. One could be in Paris.
Also one is not aware of being deep underground.
The food portions were extremely small, and our meals were not well-cooked. The service was absolutely deplorable. Our waitress came to the table a total of three times, and once was after we approached her to bring us the check. We attempted to call her over on another occasion, but she just looked at us and turned away. When we informed her of our experience with the restaurant and the service we received, she offered no apology and simply walked away. I do not recommend dining here.
Mis tíos llegaron de espalda y quería llevarlos a un sitio especial como es zedel. Mi mujer y yo ya fuimos en alguna que otra ocasión pero siempre es algo ruidoso y el servicio algo lento pero por todo lo demás muy bien.
Very good and our second visit within a week. The set meal is good value and the food is good.
Good value for money and food quality is good.
The place is gorgeous, however service was hard to get I had to call the waiter a few times, I understand they are busy, it’s another thing to ignore... On top of it, the food was ok, nothing special.
Well what a disappointing experience. The owners should know better and do much better elsewhere. Over priced tourist tip off. Avoid and try other options near by.
Much worse value than I remember. Food pretty average. Service slow even early lunchtime. The experience no longer lives up to the surroundings.
An absolute favourite.
Great service, charming atmosphere and good food!
Excellent choice of food and wine made this meeting of old friends very special. We ordered a varied selection of starters, mains and desserts and am happy to say they were tasty. Our serving staff were attentive and very helpful.
We arrived at 9:15pm, slightly ahead of our booking arrival time., but they found a table for us near the jazz performing stage, pretty loud but enjoyable music. My original idea was the plats du jour but that was sold out, the replacement was just as good. We ordered a ribeye as well which was excellent too. They were very generous with the food portion. The desserts were also yummy even though at 10:30, we were all tired and wanted to go home.
I must give credits to the waiters and waitresses for the professional manners as efficient service. Enjoyable evening as always.
Pas exceptionnel, mais belle ambiance typique d'une brasserie française typique. Menu peu gastronomique mais bien fait. Service très moyen.
Always a lovely night at Zedel. Cocktails in the American Bar then dinner in the brasserie and a show in Crazy Coqs. What a great team. Thank you so much for yet another superb evening.
We have been dining at Zedel almost since it started, it is a super venue.
Up to usual high standard.
Still miss the café glacé avec crême anglaise
Went with my friend and her two children - this place really is ideal for all and every reason to visit.
I am a regular customer and this surely says it all!
A quiet, tasty lunch in a classic brasserie ... in the heart of London. We will be back
Very nice time in the venue.
Always good as expected
I have been dining at Zedel for many years, originally when we lived in the UK and now we live abroard I always make Zedel my focal point when I am in London.
Keep doing what you do so well!
This was our best meal in London. Really enjoyed the ambience. We were in a bit of a rush due to seeing a show. They were very accommodating. Food was very good. chocolate mousse for dessert. The restaurant is very large room and festive. I had the steak which was very good. It was a pleasant surprise after having several mediocre meals in London.
We had a quietish table as requested for our lunch in this large buzzy Art Deco-styled restaurant. The food was very tasty and the service excellent. Will definitely visit again.
Brasserie Zedel is an impressively large art deco room whcih was busy on a Sunday evening. Noise levels were not excessive and the dining experience enhanced by a live jazz band. Service was mostly good but had to remind them to bring a side order which had been forgotten, and we also had to remind them to add the desserts to the bill which were left off.
We had no complaints about the actual food, our party of four had three courses plus coffee and were very satisfied. The lobster bisque and the duck went down very well as did the fish dishes.
I'd certainly recommend Brasserie Zedel for an entertaining evening.
recommended by a friend. good service and nice ambiance. food was unacceptable. ratatouille arrived cold to lukewarm, escargots lukewarm, steak hachee raw inside, overcooked outside, sent back. Arrived raw again. Sorry to say, we left with food uneaten. Service staff apologetic.
happening place in picadilly with restaurant, bar, live theater all in one place nice!
tends to be busy and service takes a small tolll. but the baba rum new to menu is wonderful.
