    The food was amazing! We went during Houston’s Restaurant Weeks and I tried the Arugula salad, Trout Almondine, and Crème brûlée and they were all perfectly prepared and delicious. The only thing lacking was the service, maybe because it was a very busy Saturday dinner time. One of my friends only ordered something small from the main menu and then wanted to order something extra. We asked multiple times to two waiters to bring the menu again or tell us about the dishes and they kept forgetting the menu or saying: “Be right back” and not showing again. I still want to think it was because it was very busy, so just heads up.

    We went here for Houston Restaurant month. Food and menu was outstanding. Only complaint was the restaurant was very loud and hard to hear the person you are talking to. Other than that brilliant!

    Amazing time! The food is exceptional and the owner and staff were so welcoming and nice. Been there many times before. We were celebrating a friend and her daughter’s birthday and everything was just perfect! We felt like we were the only table there with how they treated us and the restaurant was completely full! ❤️

    We love that is location is pet friendly. And the cherry on top is one may even get to mingle with a celebrity. Drinks are great and not watered down, seating is clean and comfortable, and everything tastes great! Our waiter helped my mother in-law choose her drink for the afternoon, and we adore the caviar!

    Fabulous evening - we went for Houston Restaurants Weeks and had the salad with poached pears and onion soup as our first course (there were two of us dining), trout almondine for our entree, and creme brûlée and the chocolate torte for our desserts. The cocktails were great, the white wine by the glass good selections, and the service by Alex was SUPERB. Charles Clark runs a very fine restaurant.

    We went for my daughter birthday and had an excellent time with incredible staff and great ambiance. The owner stopped by multiple times to check on us and my daughters eyes lit up when the cotton candy with sparklers came out to celebrate the big day. From there they also did an excellent job of cutting the custom cake we’d bright with us. Just 5 star reagent the whole way. We’ll definitely be back.

    My wife and I were disappointed with everything we got. The frisee salad was bland, the steak was bland and mushy. We suspected it was cooked to long in a sous vide bath. And to top it all off they have an upcharge for everything. Even ordering a cosmopolitan, we were charged for a cocktail and then a surcharge for it not being a house cocktail, I guess? Definitely do not recommend!

    The food and service was absolutely great. Our waiter, Jesus G was attentive and prompt and provided first class service. He also made great recommendations. We started with the frisee and little gem salads, both were very large for side salads, very fresh, great flavor. For the mains we ordered the striped bass fish special and the beef bourguignon. Both entrees were excellent as well, hard to pick which we liked better. They have some "off the menu items", like the french fries with foie gras gravy. We didn't have it, but may have tried it had we known. It looked fantastic. If I had one complaint, it was the crowd/table spacing. Tables are very close together, and they seated us right next to the bar, 3 feet from where groups of people were standing 4 deep with very little space. The waiter kindly asked one gentleman to step back as he kept backing his rear into the back of my chair. He did apologize. That said, I would still go back again, but would request a window seat vs the wine room.

    My 3rd or 4th visit to Brasserie 19. Delicious, creative menu. Chilled corn soup was delightful for a hot Sunday afternoon. Red fish special with crispy chilies also a great preparation. Look forward to my next visit!
