Bocca Di Lupo
We specialise in the obscure and the delicious highlights of food and wine from all across Italy's twenty regions. If we can make something ourselves, we do - gelati, breads, sausages, salame, pickles, mostarda, and pasta of course - the rest is carefully sourced from Italy. A selection of Italian wines and home-made and imported foods is available for delivery, along with our famous gelato, from Gelupo.
This place is second to none - love it love it love it
Good experience, excellent food and great atmosphere.
Eating at the bar was a bit uncomfortable for us, but was ok. Anyway I will be back maybe booking a table next time!
Amazing food, great atmosphere, highly recommended!
Great ingredients, different combinations, beautifully cooked
Everything was good, but the main dishes were not of the same caliber as everything else.
A great, memorable experience sat at the bar - loved the food although at first I thought the menu would challenge me. Service was "spot on" too - just the right level of attention, mingled with warm friendliness. Will definitely come back - thank you for the memories.
Was a really delicious meal-tried a number of different and new things for us, everything was outstanding. Had a persimmon and the Baba for dessert-awesome ways to end a great meal!
Great food, great atmosphere. One of my favourites
Food excellent and service was exceptional
I had read a review of this restaurant many years ago by the late and great AA Gill so has been on my list and we were not disappointed at all. Thank you.
Come here every year and it’s excellent every time. Wonderful food, drink and service. Well done as always BdL!
Absolutely terrific restaurant and meal, where we had a lovely birthday celebration lunch for my husband. The two gents on the next door table were quite loud was the only negative. Tables quite close to eachother.
Not been for a while and it is still as good as ever. Really interesting variety of dishes so there's always something new to try. Always a treat to go here.
The food was nice.
It felt like we were forgotten about as we had a corner table. Our main course took almost 45 minutes to arrive and it was constantly difficult to get the attention of the staff.
Otherwise the restaurant was nice enough.
As wonderful as the day it opened. Best Italian in town.
The most wonderful Italian food - full of flavour along with friendly but efficient service.
Very fresh ingredients and exciting environment. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the dishes being prepared!
Wow what a place! Not much into my specialty food places and to be honest I didn't understand 90% on their menu. I chose the mussels spaghetti. ( can't remember the actual name of it on the menu) but oh my goodness it was amazing! My friend has the squid cooked in its own ink and that was epic as well really recommend this place and well priced. Service was outstanding!!
Thank you guys for a great time!
Helpful staff and great food!
Our lunch was one of the highlights of our recent trip to London! We enjoyed sitting at the counter and watched the chefs create amazing dishes in a fairly small space. Our server gave wonderful recommendations and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Extensive wine list and lots off options for dessert. Prices were reasonable and most menu items were offered in both half and full portion sizes.
Not as good as it used to be - the food was done well but nothing spectacular, just good comfort food. Portions are smaller and less value for money. Ambience and service were the great - attentive and enthusiastic staff.
My waiter was lovely. Sat at the bar, but your team behind the bar were always chatting amongst themselves and totally uninterested in serving me. The worst bar seating ever. Counters were too high to relax and read to dine. It was just me. The Food was just ok...nothing outstanding as reviewed. as I mentioned, my waiter Sergio was so kind in deboning my fish.
Good food. Service satisfactory.
Nice food, good service, good value
All too complicated! The restaurant was overcrowded and noisy. We booked well in advance but got the worst table, I was bashed into by fellow diners on several occasions. The lighting was so low I had trouble reading the overly complicated menu. The menu left me confused and I chose a simple risotto because it was recognizable as something I knew. It was really dull. So disappointed as I was really looking forward to it.
The noise level spoils the appreciation of the excellent prepared and tasting food .
Salmon Tartar/Beef Tar, Mussels, Vitello Tonata. Fish Carpaccio, pork belly etc all very good.
The food here is excellent and the pre/post theatre deal is a steal. The squid pasta on the deal was great and really good value. Starters were also excellent and were the puddings. Wine was very good value. It is worth sitting at the counter so you can watch the kitchen at work.
The food used to be fantastic, alas, the current menu did not do well - The wine list has also changed and overall disappointed with the quality of the food an indeed the authenticity.
This was our fourth time dining at Boca Di Lupo over an 18 month period. It is outstanding in quality, creativity, service at a most reasonable cost. The absolute consistency of the quality is impressive, not just from dish to dish, but from visit to visit. And, as one of us has food allergies, the careful individual preparation of so many dishes makes it a joy of a dining experience. So many cooks of limited range pretend to be chefs. At this restaurant, the chefs are simply brilliant. And the waitstaff really know the food. Not a place to go for a quiet meal, but you’ll be too busy enjoying the food to much care.
One of my favourite places in London
It never disappoints! Great food fantastic wine and awesome service
At last I managed to get a booking and It was worth the wait! We sat at the bar and watched all the staff working seamlessly together. The food was fabulous every dish amazing we will definitely be back again. Thank you 😊
a friend introduced me to BDL for my birthday a couple of years ago...and since then i have enjoyed continuing that tradition and have introduced several friends myself. They are always a little intrigued by the menu and the wines and always delighted and impressed by the food and service.
Wow! Great buckwheat pappadelle with goose raging and delicious John Dory.
Used to be very good, not anymore. A bit disappointed
good prices, allows you to try many things from menu, small pasta dishes to share.
very good flavours and very welcoming, attentive staff
would definitely return
It’s my favourite restaurant, never disappoints, the food is fantastic, I love all the exciting flavours!
Absolutely fabulous food. Delicious, inventive, beautiful. One of the memorable meals of my life.
The food, service and ambience were excellent, it was just a bit uncomfortable sitting at the bar, where the seating isn't really set-up at the right height for eating. I'm sure as a drinking bar, it would be fine, but as an eating bar, the tools and bar are at the wrong height for normal sized people.
Great food - wonderful service. Only downfall is that sitting at the counter you are quite low to the table & it’s quite tight so there’s a bit of elbow bashing!
Great value and great service. The food was delicious and we had a really lovely and memorable time. The only thing was the restaurant at the back is quite loud (but this also makes for a great atmosphere). Will be coming back for sure!
The food never disappoints. It’s authentic, always very fresh tasting and also inventive. The service is always top class and the waiters are always extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately the restaurant is quite small and they do pack people in. There’s hardly any room to move and the noise level from people chatting makes it a challenge to hold a conversation.
