Bocca Di Lupo
We specialise in the obscure and the delicious highlights of food and wine from all across Italy's twenty regions. If we can make something ourselves, we do - gelati, breads, sausages, salame, pickles, mostarda, and pasta of course - the rest is carefully sourced from Italy. A selection of Italian wines and home-made and imported foods is available for delivery, along with our famous gelato, from Gelupo.
Bocca Di Lupo is alway fantastic. The food the ambiance and the service are wonderful and still one of our favorite restaurants in London.
Great place to visit for a pre theatre meal busy lively Italian restaurant we sat at the bar which was nice especially watching all the chefs cooking lots of lovely Italian dishes wine was very good bit pricey but you are in London so what to expect I suppose overall great experience definitely book a seat at the bar
Great as always!
Always have an enjoyable experience! Today I had the spaghetti and squid ragu, the daily special. Nice atmosphere and staff efficient and polite.
A hard reservation to make. Bocca Di Lupo has an interesting menu with some very specific regional specialities. The pace is frenetic and the service erratic. The bar stools do not have backs and the table are crowded. The good food helps to compensate for the noise, crowded dining space and less than superb service.
Excellent food and service. Very good value for money! One minor point was it's a bit cramped in bar but still acceptable.
Fantastic experience! This is a proper sit down, fancy dining place, but at a moderate price point. They offer small and big plates for most dishes so you have an option to order smalls and try different things.
Great Italian Restaurant I would eat there every night!
As good as my Nona’s cooking... delizioso!!!!
Good value and excellent service
Excellent place ...food amazing and atmosphere conducive to a business discussion
Lovely meal and great services. I'll be back. Yum!
Lively buzzing restaurant. Loved the way the menu indicated where in Italy each choice originated. Super excellent wine list and sommelier. Sat at the bar so was happy to watch the chefs preparing the food. Not fussy, but great down to earth top quality Italian food.
Another visit to a favourite venue resulted in another long, lazy lunch. By slowly going through the menu with small tasting plates paired with the wines on offer we managed to sample delights from marinated sea bream, fresh pasta, fresh vibrant salads and grilled fish that fell away from the bone. Finished the meal with an Expresso Martini, fresh fruit, gelato and cannoli, perfect. Great service and helpful and knowledgeable sommelier. I will be back sooner rather than later.
Food great especially if you want to have more authentic italian food but service disappointing: main dishes were brought to different people with a big delay so we couldn’t start eating together worrying that food can get cold, some drinks orders had to be reminded and they would not be served but just ‘dumped’ on the table.
Amazing restaurant! The Sommelier was excellent. Would highly recommend
Have now eaten here twice and very much looking forward to returning!
This is our go to place in London when visiting for the last 8 years. We have made numerous recommendations to friends and family when visiting London to dine here. Everyone has always come back and thanked us for referring them! Certainly one of the best meals you will get in London and the location is absolutely perfect if you are going to a show.
High quality, Italian cooking. Lovely simple dishes, well presented in an appealing room.
Came in for a quick business lunch with two colleagues. Prompt, friendly, attentive service and excellent food.
We had a delicious dinner at this restaurant. While booking, we’d mentioned that it was our anniversary and the team gave us a warm welcome and a complimentary drink, which was a very thoughtful touch. The food itself was delicious. We couldn’t help trying all sorts on the menu and probably ordered a little too much. No room for dessert! Thanks for making our anniversary one to remember.
Great small and lively space! Good service. Food was good, although I wouldn’t say the best pasta I have ever had.
Food was amazing. Service first class, great ambience. A bit noisy due to all the hard surfaces.
Highly recommend went for lunch and had the tapas, next time will try the dinner menu.
Lovely food, pasta was particularly delicious as were the desserts. Great service and a buzzy atmosphere.
Nice to visit again after some time - a great meal with good choices of food and wine!
Amazing food and service every time
Excellent girly lunch with my 9 year old daughter; we sat at the counter which was great for watching the chefs cook. Food was delicious and the wine suggestion spot-on. The service was superb; the blonde haired lady who seated us was extremely kind to my daughter, gave advice about what to order, and packaged up what we couldn't finish to take home. Will be back soon with my husband for more of a date night.
Superb food and customer service. Transferred to a table despite booking online, nice touch and totally unexpected. Certainly one to visit again when staying in London.
Efficient service and delicious food from unusual menu. Starter of prawns squid and lemon slices shared - who would have known lemon slices deep fried would be so tasty. Reasonable price for dish of the day. Convenient location and a pleasure to be somewhere that’s not part of a chain and has high standards.
Superb. Food, wine and service were what top restaurants are all about.
Excellent as usual
A joy and a pleasure every time. I cannot get enough.
...among my top five London restaurants... I'm never disappointed
Good, authentic Italian cooking, 'trattoria' style, which means 'not fine food', which is not necessarily a bad thing. The deep-fried courgette flowers were very nice, as well as the fried calamari and prawns (very fresh) and the roast suckling pig (very tasty). However the roast potatoes that came with the suckling pig were vile (yes, I mean it). They were completely burnt and therefore inedible. As to the restaurant, it is quite outdated, with no vibe. It is also extremely noisy and expensive. £135 for two people. We only had a small starter, a small main and we shared the suckling pig with potatoes. No dessert. Wine: only a carafe of white wine shared by the two of us. I would recommend this restaurant for the food, but I find it too noisy and expensive, so no value for money. The service was average. I also noticed that the restaurant manager was so focused on serving the people sitting in the table next to hours and totally ignored us. We were clearly not as important as them! For all these reasons, I don't think I will visit this restaurant again in the future.
Outstanding restaurant!! Great service and delicious food!!
So another wedding anniversary (17yrs) and we celebrated with lunch spent at Bocca with our kids. Looked after by Phil and his lovely team (superb wine choice btw). Gawjuss food, perfectly balanced, cooked and presented. Bocca has such a lovely vibe and the front of house guys, charming as ever. The thing about Bocca is they are always consistantly good and this not only applies to what comes out of the kitchen but the service, friendliness, warmth and genuine ease in which you are welcomed and looked after. Thanks for a wonderful lunch. x
Great Italian food for a great price! Perfect place to grab some dinner before catching a show!
Nice atmosphere, buzzy feel without too much noise. Many delicious sounding choices, and good to know which region of Italy they are from. All the dishes we tried were excellent, blood orange granita a real highlight.
Very good Italian! We’ve been to the best in Tokyo and NY, but Bocca di Lyon is definitely up there with them all, if not better!! Great lively atmosphere and the counter seat by the chef was super fun to watch.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit for lunch. Food was excellent and staff were very helpful, especially with help choosing from the menu.
Very fun and possibly our best meal in London. We loved dining at the bar.
