Our waitress Jill was really good, never forgot about us and answered all our questions with smart detailed replies. Was nice to see a waitress that really loves where she works. Food and wine were both excellent.

The staff at Blackfish always manage to make an occasion extra special. When we told our waitress we were celebrating life in general because I had received a No Cancer diagnosis and my uncle was also celebrating a Cancer Free diagnosis she congratulated us both profusely. She then disappeared and a few minutes later returned with 2 extra special dessert plates the had “Here’s to kicking Cancers butt”. We were all very touched and greatly appreciate her caring. Thank you!!!

Food is ALWAYS amazing. Our server Jill was fantastic. So sweet. The only down side is how loud the restaurant is. My parents are getting old and could hardly hear me talk. They were embarrassed that they couldn't hear so we sat quietly most of the time because we didn't want to yell over everyone else.

Wow! This place was not what i was expecting. I was told that They would bring out bread and saw the menue so i had an expectation of every seafood place i have ever been and i was pleasantly suprised. This place is creative with inspired food and a great atmosphere. Will go again.

The food was excellent and the service was stellar. But the experience was ruined thanks to some drunk woman shrieking constantly at an 8 top. Hard to have an enjoyable experience at an expensive restaurant with someone screaming every 3 minutes.

Noisy very noisy .. more than one table with a bunch of drunks acting up and screaming and “making out”. NoBody said a word to them.. my wife’s meal came way undercooked and very salty.. they made a different meal( she had to change her meal request). It took 10 minutes to be prepared and I sat and had to eat COLD food as we wanted to eat together. Nobody offered me anything so I had to eat COLD food. On top of that they did not offer me the discount I was entitled to according to hotel policy which meant I overpaid this time and every time I g BF ave eaten there . Very bad experience

Dinner was excellent, we always order the filet. Service was better than previous visits. A bit pricey but in Marysville this is the only decent place to get a good steak.

Have eaten at the Black Fish numerous times in the past and it has always been a great time and meal. My girlfriend brought me here for my birthday on Feb 11th. We had reservations for 6:30 and were greeted at the podium by the hostess with a smile and were immediately seated next to the front near where you could watch the chef prepare the salmon etc. Our waitress was "shadowing" a new employee and I found her polite, professional and friendly (unfortunately), I don't remember her name. She was attentive to our needs and never let our water glasses get get empty. She served our meals (crab dinner for my girlfriend & giant prawns for myself).

The meal was exactly what we expected and were not disappointed. We will be returning again.

For the most part all was good. Have been there before. But when you clearly state how you want your steak done and it comes less cooked, why do I have to give them just my steak and then eat the rest of my food with my party absent the steak? Doesn't make sense. As a top restaurant they should understand the impact of this during an anticipated nice dinner. Geez.

Server excellent. Food excellent. We were seated on time. My husband had the NY steak. I had the scallops. Everything was cooked exactly how we asked. Prices were what you would expect from a high end restaurant. We could have been happier with a little less noise but all in all, it was a wonderful dinner.

The wine in the wine book I ordered they could not find. A 2010 Red from South Africa so they recommended a more expensive wine than what I ordered. Food was good , service was good & atmosphere very good. A little pricey for quality but still good.

Birthday celebration for my husband. Took awhile to be seated although the had made reservations weeks prior. Table was ready, but took them 15 minutes to seat us. Weird. Service was great, food amazing. Would come back again for sure. Just wish we could dine without the smokers lingering.... oh well. It IS a casino. 🤷‍♀️

Food and service was good as usual, but this was the second time out of our last 3 visits that our medium rare steaks came out medium well. Won’t stop us from coming back but always a little disappointing when we’re not able to eat our meals at the same time.

The entrees were good but not excellent and the Smoked Pork Bellies appetizer was not good. There were 3 one-inch square appetizers and the pork was all fat. We enjoyed the theme and décor but it was too dark.

Having dined here more than several times we were really looking forward to a great meal like we've had in the past, we were disappointed. The King salmon ($41) was the greatest disappointment, I don't know my salmon that well but this was smaller, dryer, lacking in flavor and only half as thick (about a half inch) as the King salmon we had here before. We also had the NY steak ($50), it was cooked (medium rare) and portioned right but lacked the favor I expected from a NY which is suppose to be a marbled cut of meat. This didn't appear to have much if any marbling making it somewhat dry and much less savory. I ordered the NY the last time we were here and thought it to be the best steak I ever had. The service was great, the noise level wasn't as bad as it's been in past visits. I think we'll try to find a new place for our fine dining.

Over priced and really awkward vibe. It feels like a dark hole in the wall. The “greeters” are rude and certainly didn’t make us feel welcome at all. Food was just ok and came out cold. $120 for two. Kind of a bummer.
