The food was not so great. Service was okay. There are better choices in the area, I’m sure.
My go to spot for a quick sandwich or salad. Food is always real good. Cathy was excellent as always
OUTSTANDING! The service, the plates are big enough to share regardless choice. We ordered the BeerCheese soup bowl to share & the fish tacos, they split everything for us & it was not only delicious but plenty as well.
Fantastic. Nine of us dining and catered for to perfection. Excellent food and service... we loved it!
We are locals who live in Kissimmee. We've eaten at Big River numerous times in the past. For the last few years, we've noticed the food quality and quantity have decreased while prices have increased. I realize you pay a premium to eat at Disney, I just wished they'd return to their old menu and increase portions. The reason we ate there was because we had out of town guests, and they wanted to watch the Epcot fireworks while dinning.
Main course salad was all white head lettuce. Meatloaf was just okay. Server was attentive and helpful. Noisy environment even when not particularly busy. Not likely that we will return.
Great service and good menu options! Did not have to wait long for table!
One of the best Meatloafs I have ever had. Potatoes excellent also. Good selection of beer and kids meals were enjoyed.
Really good food at a great location. Service us always first clasd
The food was not very good at all. The salmon was fishy tasting and I couldn’t even finish the meal. Our waitress was awesome though!
Menu was changed. Very few entree options. Fish tacos were inedible.
Great food and drink choices. Excellent location! Loved the outside patio seating as well.
Great service!!! We had fussy kids with us and the server was amazing.
All good - as always the meatloaf was excellent. Server was above average too - very good service.
see you again...
We stopped at Big River for an early dinner on Wednesday 4/3. Our server was Brandon and he did an excellent job. He was friendly courteous and professional, The food was also very good, but the atmosphere wasn't. I felt as though we were tucked into a back corner. We would have preferred to be seated in the bar, but weren't offered that option. The food and service were very good, the atmosphere not very good.
great cob salad. great service and location. a go to place when at disney
Food was not that great for the price. Way overpriced for the quality of the food. Like the scenery though and the service was great.
The beers where great, food was ok, and the service also ok. I enjoyed the beer flight. The cost for a restaurant at disney was very reasonable.
Food was good my wife loves the shrimp scampi
The food was not fresh. It was all easy meals, frozen and reheated. My chicken quesadilla was canned chicken meat that was pink in color and had no flavor. The other meals we selected were a fish dish that was a frozen filet heated up and the child’s dinner was easy Mac. This was a disappointing dinner choice aside from the location and water views. Hate we wasted a night here.
The beer cheese soup was good. Ordered Artichoke/Crab dip with crostinis. I found the artichokes but no crab and the crostinis were chewy instead to crunchy as they were suppose to be. The waiter explained they come out cold, which I get, but if you're melting shredded asiago cheese on them then they should be served at least warm. Crostinis are not suppose to be chewy. Also ordered a cheese burger medium and it was dry without any taste at all. The pile of chips that accompanied it were good. I've eaten at almost all the dining options on Disney property and up until eating at Big River Grill had not experienced a bad meal. On the bright side the wait staff is very friendly, attentive people. It's a shame the food doesn't match the service.
The food was good. Although Julio the waiter was very gracious the man at the door made us wait for almost 1 hour when he promised no more than 15 mins.
Portions are generous and flavour is good.
Price? Well is inside a Disney property so you guess...
When we first arrived the restaurant was extremely loud, with tables very close together, which made it difficult to talk or move. That would have given this restaurant a low rating in my book. However, they were able to give us a table on the Boardwalk, which was very quiet. The food was delicious, the Boardwalk ambiance enchanting, and we would come back if we could sit outside.
The restaurant has changed its menu
Much for the worse!
Nothing much for vegetarian either
Don’t think of this as a brewery, it’s a dinner that servers their own beer. Very loud, lots of kids.
This place looks more like a diner from the 80s than a brewery. Food was subpar and seemed like a much nicer place online than in person. It was extremely disappointing. Our server was super nice however. If you go just for a drink I am sure it’s fine. I wouldn’t go back or recommend.
Chicken was undercooked, daughter had to return it. Crab dip was mostly cold.
We thought that considering the hotel as well as the other restaurants on the boardwalk, that this one was of the same caliber as the ESPN. It wasn’t even close!
Good food, great service. Limited menu. Nice selection of craft beer. Good location. Reasonably priced for a restaurant on Disney property.
Awsome place great service food yummy
Lovely sitting outside, watching the sun go down - had the meatloaf which is delicious. It’s a big portion and unless you’re exceptionally hungry, I’d recommend sharing one between two.
Very much a diner atmosphere and very loud inside. Salads were fresh but meatloaf was burnt and the beer was bad. Empty tables near us were never cleaned off the entire time we were there. A couple next to us had something wrong with their meal, as we overheard the server apologizing and said she took the meal off their bill. Ok place for a quick bite but not for a dinner. Very surprised it is owned/ran/on Disney property because of the overall poor quality of food and atmosphere.
Reservations only move your party to the top of list. We had to wait 20 min past our reservation time. Food is terrible. Bad imitation of an actual brewery.
This place has no ambiance at all. We ordered chicken nachos to share. The cheese sauce was a was a watery mess. The chicken tasted like it was stewed and was very watery also. For a Disney establishment, was really poor. Chili’s nachos are better. The beer was good, but did not make up for the lousy food.
Our server was very attentive. Food and drinks were excellent. My only complaint was the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation and there didn’t appear to be a less noisy spot in the restaurant. We will for sure be back.
Being a brewery, the variety and flavors of their craft brews are excellent. I wish the food was better. Just your average bar fare. Nothing special here.
Wonderful experience at Big River Grille during our Walt Disney World vacation. We dined as the sun was setting, but due to the angle of the restaurant, we have wonderful waterfront views with no direct sun/heat. Ate outside with ample room for our four kids. Great beet brewed onsite.
Food was meh. Akin to Appleby’s but 3x the price. The Chicken Mac and Cheese has prepackaged chicken. If you have other options, dine somewhere else. Additionally the menu on OpenTable is not accurate and should be updated to reflect their menu today.
A last minute res on a freezing cold day in a theme park caked with kids- lots crying tired kids in the place- not restaurants fault. Given that, the waiter was still happy , energetic and helpful . Food okay too. Burgers, salads, soup. Basic but did the job . Beer choices great. Wine choices good for that type of place too.
