We had a reservation for 8pm. We were seated immediately, however it took 25 minutes to get drinks. 45 minutes in we didn’t have our food or even our appetizers. This is a hibachi restaurant, so I understand there is some orchestration that has to happen with the chef, but if you have a reservation I think having to wait 45 minutes just for soup and salad is unacceptable. Who knows how long we would have had to wait for our entire. We left after 50 minutes, not being served a single thing. The whole point of a reservation is so you don’t have to wait. Simply unacceptable.

We are frequent diners at Benihanas. Normally have a great experience. This time unfortunately was not. Our cook was nice, but never in my life have seen a cook use SO MUCH butter on EVERYTHING! Not just your normal scoop but 3-5 BIG scoops on everything. Including chicken! It was gross! Made most of sick the rest of the night into the morning and some of us couldn’t not even be able to finish the meal or want to take anything home! The cook was a guy from Chillicothe, I would recommend requesting a different cook if that’s who you get!

Service was slow, the chef did not begin cooking for over an hour after the reservation time. There was no soap in the ladies restroom.

Worst experience of my life ! Took over hour to be served people left our table cause it took so long ! Then the grill wasn’t even started it took another 20 mins to heat up! Then server never rang in our onions allergy or mushroom allergy . Then food was cooked wrong and never brought out the right drinks

This was by far the best hibachi experience we've had in DECADES! Actually, I'd say it was the best overall dining out experience we've had in years, as well (including cruise ships)! My crabby teenager was even smiling and at the end of the meal told them it was amazing! The service was exceptional! Derek was extremely attentive. He seemed one step ahead of us, knowing what we needed before we did. Chef Rick was absolutely fabulous! He was funny, friendly, and combined the usual "show" that we've gotten accustomed to, with some fun new surprises. He even got my teen smiling and laughing. The food was delicious!!!!
