Excellent service and food, as always. Don’t miss dining in one of the villas this winter - highly recommend!
I had the Braised Short Ribs which was excellent. Service was beyond excellent
We came here to celebrate my partner's birthday. The table before us took an additional 20 minutes beyond their reservation, but the Belvedere staff informed us of this ahead of time and, once the prior group left, seated us almost immediately. They offered both digital and paper menus (likely due to the Covid pandemic) and a drink list. The servers were polite and efficient and the food was excellent. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience there!
our favorite place to dine out....especially during the holiday season. Our server was fun and professional at the same time. The decor for the holiday was amazing....as always. We are so happy we were able to be there before another unreasonable shutdown. Can't wait to come back.
Very enjoyable meal. Great service and excellent food.
Shared lots of laughs over champagne and great food. Our server was Weston( I think thats what he said) and he was fantastic. Didn’t miss a thing. Very attentive and personable. We will be back without a doubt.
This restaurant was absolutely incredible. The food was phenomenal, literally and the service was outstanding. Great place! Would definitely recommend.
We can’t say enough about our experience we loved the food our servers and staff as well as every bit of ambience! We had the pleasure of outdoor dining in one of the plexi glass heated greenhouses . It was warm quiet romantic and we were still able to hear the pianist from outdoors. You cannot hear others dining outside. We loved it so much before we left we made our reservation for Valentines Day!! I went to work and recommended the restaurant to everyone who wanted to hear how our anniversary was! If you like burgers and ff this is not the place for you but if you like more upscale dishes with the appropriate servings you’ll love every bit of your meal here! Can’t wait to go back!
Belvedere Inn was decorated so beautiful. The food was very delicious. We would definitely come back.
I normally have exceptional service at this restaurant but it was not up to par this time. We felt rushed to get out the door. Our appetizers and salads were delivered all together. We were never offered bread. Our server kept forgetting things. She cleared some of the plates and said she would be back for the rest but never did. It might be awhile before I return. Disappointing!
I’ve brought many peeps here to experience my favorite restaurant in Lancaster for the last 12years. Especially during Christmas when the decor is beautiful and I requested a table near the tree. It was no where what I expected.
From my experience as a foodie after COVID, Most upscale restaurants have experienced a drop in quality and service.
Unfortunately The Belvedere was a huge disappointment as well.
I used to order my Filet Mignon Medium and you could cut it with a fork. Sadly it came out well done and tough. Waitress was too busy to really tend to us well so I did not complain until the end of dinner which was very much unappreciated since I would have said something if she were more attentive. Sadly disappointed
Lived everything about the outdoor villas.
Food and service was outstanding. Definitely will return, the beet salad was the best and large enough for both of us to share. Even with the virus, everything was so well done, felt very comfortable and safe.
The outdoor Villa is amazing
Weston was amazing and made a special night for us even more special! Thank you Weston for the amazing service and cocktails :)
We celebrated our 50+ wedding anniversary as we did last year. First floor rear room was spaced for COVID and the total of tables were just the right number. Noise level by 8:30 was just tolerable. We dined from 7-8:30. Was decorated beautifully. My preference would be to enforce some type of dress code. I believe they specify smart causal, but people’s not inclined to dress this way are very loud. A loud dunning room can ruin an evening for some others. Overall a 9 out of ten. Oh, by the way the Veal Oscar was amazing!! Definitely my favorite place.
Wonderful food, atmosphere & the waiter, Jimmy, was one of best I’ve had! Definitely recommend ❤️
My girlfriend had the wonderful idea to take me here for my birthday and it was just pure excellence as usual. I hadn’t been to the Belvedere in awhile and the food was just outstanding, everything was brought out perfectly spaced apart, the menu was phenomenal, you can tell right away how fresh and top notch the ingredients were, and the super talented kitchen staff created flavors that are just simply to die for. Our server was very knowledgeable, gave fantastic recommendations, and was perfectly funny and pleasant throughout the whole dining experience. We were sat on the deck/outdoor seating area in our own private garden villa which was perfectly heated and cozy while also providing an incredible atmosphere, we felt like we were on the town in NYC. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to return! Thanks for everything!
We were celebrating our 50th Wedding and could not have been more pleased.
Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so special again this year!!!
We dined in the outdoor area and it was so nice - very quiet and private. The service was great, as were the espresso martinis.
Thank you for your safety measures!
The best restaurant ever! The best food, very friend stuff. Scott Shepherd is the best server I’ve ever met in my entire life. Thank you Scott for making our evening unforgettable!
Not the greatest. The waiter first seated us at a very tiny table. I had to kindly but firmly request another table. Food was very good. The waiter seemed a bit sarcastic to us. As a mixed couple we will go elsewhere next time.
Absolutely impeccable service and top notch food. The restaurant is now beautifully decorated for the holidays.
The food was absolutely amazing! Exceptional service and ambiance. We can't wait to eat at The Belvedere again
Waiter Jimmy was on his game!
Excellent service and good food. I am continually impressed at the safety measures they’re taking in the dining rooms.
Loved some of the new menu items! The wild game 2 ways, OMG!!!
I have eaten at the Belvedere many times now, and it never disappoints. Perfect for special occasions.
Jimmy is the best server. Super charming and knowledgeable. Food, cocktails and wine were all perfect! Covid measures (partitions, temp checks, etc.) were great and made us feel safe. 10/10.
Our food was great, but the service was superb! Very safe environment.
Always worth a night out when we have time.
Dinner last night was excellent. Food was amazing. Service spectacular. They are doing everything very safely and tables are far away from one another. Would highly recommend.
We dined in one of the outdoor "pods" set up on the 2nd floor porch. Although it was chilly outside, it was cozy in the heated pod. As always service was impeccable and our food was fabulous. I started with a bowl of the lobster bisque followed by the surf 'n turf special (petite filet and cold water lobster tail with potato and asparagus) and finally a creme brulee. My companion helped with the bisque (the serving is huge) and a filet. We washed it all down with a lovely pinot noir. On our way out the door we booked a pod for the next time we'll be in town. In a word, the evening was perfect, and it's so good to have the Belvedere Inn back!
Outstanding in every way. Seating is arranged to keep customers Covid-safe and comfortable
Always a wonderful experience dining here, especially for birthday and/anniversary
My fiancée and I were celebrating her birthday. We decided to give the Belvedere Inn a go. We were first-timers and didn't know what to expect. The were pleasantly surprised!
We were greeted warmly as we entered. The ambient music was tasteful and not intrusive, which we both enjoyed. Jimmy helped us navigate the beer offerings and suggested some delicious meals. We had the double-cut veal chops and pumpkin risotto. The veal was cookied to perfection and the risotto was creamy and had a terrific mouthfeel. If you are looking a quiet, romantic place to dine the Belvedere Inn fits that bill. The dessert was out of this world. We had the crème brûlée and carrot cake, respectively.
Overall, the staff, decor, meal, and ambience were top notch in our book. We will be returning!
We had the most Amazing evening. Dinner was wonderful. Waitstaff was super friendly.
Will definitely be back
Where to start... got seated and then waited 10 minutes for someone to bring water glasses (but no water) and utensils. 7 min later someone came with water. Waitress informed us of the specials but didn’t state the prices (no big deal, but the waiter for the next table did inform that party of the prices up front). I ordered the 45 day aged NY strip prepared as medium. It looked beautiful when they brought it but it was rare, not even med-rare, but dark purple rare. So rare in fact, I had trouble trying to cut it with their steak knife. After showing it to the waiter they took it back and 10 min later it came out properly prepared. My wife’s chicken was so dry that she only ate 1/2 of it. The salad’s were the best part (okay, and the dessert) but the poor service and the rare steak ruined our anniversary dinner.... but not our anniversary. When it was time for the bill, they brought that out within 45 seconds of my requesting it, however then it took almost 10 minutes for them to come back for the card and to process the payment. Oh, I almost forgot, the dessert was good but the server carried our dessert around the room, stopping to show it to the bartender who looked closely at it and then proceeded to place the plate on the bar where the bartender was preparing drinks. It sat up there for at least 5 minutes before the waiter retrieved it and brought it to our table. Service was as bad as I have ever experienced.
