Great food and service. Very loud. Get the Mac n cheese side.
Delivered what I expected. It’s a bar with plenty of beer and bar food.
The service was definitely sub par. They didn’t bring us water. No one told us that if we sat roof top that we’d have to fend for ourselves. The chairs were ridiculously uncomfortable. The food was ok but nothing special. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
A little quieter than I expected from a bar but was amazing food and a good brunch deal
I was not happy with my meal at all and the way they did things were odd. For instance I asked for a coke float and one guy came by plopped the ice cream and then said the soda is coming soon.
Average range of beers and didn’t live up to the website. Service was nothing special either. This is neither for beer enthusiasts or tourists. Give it a miss
It wasn’t busy at first around 4pm but then it was absolutely slammed, wall to wall people. So loud you couldn’t hear yourself think! Went back a second day for lunch and it was much better. Great beer list and good food!
Food was above average, but expected better beer selection. Only a handful of actual craft beer on tap, most was normal. Also less than 60 available unlike the marketing for 90+.
I have been to Times Square a few times this year and been to Beer Authority three times. It is very consistent, affordable and easy to get a table. Great draft selection and the appetizers are really good. The service has been great every time.
Service was okay. Servers were in a disagreement with each other and not hiding it from patrons. Food was mediocre at best and order wasn’t fulfilled...just replaced with a different option that was not offered to us ... simply given. Not good enough Beer Authority!!
Food was better than expected. Wide selection of beers. Very, very loud. Good service.
Had food here and it was excellent. The bar man was very informative and willing too
The beer selection was very good. The mimosas were very tasty.
Best pub grub in NYC! Great prices for NYC.
While vacationing in NYC my wife and I stopped in for the first time on Friday for a really good meal. We saw a flyer while there, advertising brunch on Sat. and Sunday. We went on Sunday for the Jazz brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the music, excellent musicians in the band.
Amazing brunch deal! Best French toast I’ve ever had.
A great place to hang out with friends before a show or to sample many different kinds of beers. Service was a bit slow, and we sometimes felt like an afterthought, but I can imagine it was because of the volume of people there. The fried burritos were gigantic!
I went with a friend to watch the NCAA basketball tournament and while the games were on there was no interest in them. I thought it was a sports bar.
The food was pretty good, the service was very good but I thought the beer list was good not great.
If it's not a sports bar, the beer list is just good and the food is good then there are many places in NYC that are just as good if not better.
I love that they have a good selection of beer! The food is good(only had appetizers). People were nice, but our server was very forgetful. Awesome location!
Great place! This is where a Syracuse fan needs to be during March Madness! Very friendly hostess and waitress (Laura). Food and drinks were excellent, as well as decent prices.
Just ok. Booked a high top. Even the confirmation call said high top. We got a table. Food was just ok nothing special. Service slow.
Server was attentive, gave good recommendations and responsive...will definitely be back!
Beer Authority has an extensive selection of beers and a great selection of food.
Went there before a show. Fast service. Great selection of beer and mixed drinks. Food is ok. Really loud, but not so bad you couldn’t talk.
Midtown bar with pub grub menu. Extensive draft beer selection is the big plus.
Nice section of beer....and food was tasty.....recommended
If you make a reservation for you and someone else, don't expect it to be fulfilled when you get there and tell you your table is bumped because there's a party of 20 coming in, then a party of 30 after. Other small tables were left reserved as well. So our table was bumped instead of giving us what we wanted, which was available because we were only a party of 2. We reserved a high top, not a few tables. Seat us then and there, at the table we requested as it was available. When the other parties with reserved tables come in, figure it out then. Hostess made us feel like we were not good enough.....I get it, our bill wouldn't have been anywhere near the cost bigger parties would rake in. But hey, we were paying customers none the less. And we were celebrating a birthday. The high top was reserved in the event friends were coming after work hours.
Happy hour prices can definitely be better also. Work on that.
Flew from Florida and met family from California for dinner. Place was nice once we were upstairs. A little unkept downstairs. Service was just “okay” we were handed off to another server after we placed our orders and she didn’t show much interest in us, and you could tell she was a little aggravated she has to pick up a table. In all my years in restaurant management, I would never let a server pass off a table just to go home - it’s just unprofessional and makes the guest feel like they’re unwanted. Food was good, though it took a while to come out. Look into expanding the cider offerings - that’s continuing to be a trend, and I missed the variety.
Nice atmosphere, typical American menu, tacos, burgers ect but as the name suggests an extensive list of beers. Recommend the draft Guinness.
Great beer selection! Everything was great except burger was overcooked. Everything else was perfect!
Food was mostly good, except the cheese was missing on the bacon, egg, and cheese. Servers were nice, but the restaurant was late to open, leaving us sitting around. Great value, will probably go back.
Hostess very quickly seated us. Waitress stretched thin - running all over. Bus staff pretty useless in supporting waiters. Food OK.
Service was slow.
It was good not great. It worked fine for us. It’s nothing special or memorable but is fine for a casual dinner and drinks with friends.
Waitress was very rude. Noticed other table was not having a good experience with her.
Good place for lunch! Not overpriced and tasty menu
Christmas Eve dinner was perfect!
Our server (I think her name was Caitlin?) was pretty rude. Never checked on us despite being pretty empty. Had to flag her down for everything. Otherwise beer list was pretty nice and food was tasty! Cool spot!
Went with coworkers after work. Had a great time. Will definitely organize it again
