Went on Valentine and had the Tomahawk. Oh my goodness I couldn't believe how good it was. The flavor, the cut, the way it was cooked all have a very big thumbs up from me.
I love Baton Rouge BUT this time the food was not up to par. The ribs were missing enough of your amazing sauce. We ordered a main meal that used the same sauce as the nachos (appetizer) which was not appropriate on the pasta. We should have been advised that the main dish contained the same sauce as the appetizer we ordered. I felt bad for the person eating that same sauce twice. It was OK as an appetizer but totally gross on the pasta. Someone should taste that dish before putting it on the menu. On a good note the salmon & steak were well prepared. Unfortunately, the service was bad considering it was a very quite Sunday afternoon. We should have received more attention but we were somewhat neglected. We could not give an appropriate tip because we did not know who would be getting it. Our original waitress seemed to be good, but then there was shift change. We did not know who are waitress was and there was one who was borderline rude and lost her ability to smile and be hospitable. After she served us water, she slammed down the pitcher on the shelf beside us. I have no idea why???? And she did not excuse herself for being loud. The bang seemed intentional. Then when we brought up these issues to another waitress her replies were not at all convincing. It sounded like she had "robot" answers. Oh well, I will still go to Baton Rouge but maybe not this one. Which is why I can't really recommend it.

Restaurant was closed we found another alternative. Open table was not updated. When we got to restaurant and noticed it was closed we tried to cancel reservation but the only option to cancel was by calling restaurant which was closed!
I have been to Baton Rouge before, but this time the ribs were not what I am used to. They seemed dry.
Je ne vais pas souvent à ce restaurant, mais chaque fois il semble y avoir un problème aux cuisines qui retarde notre repas, sans que le serveur ou la serveuse ne juge bon de nous en aviser. C’est dommage, parce que nos sandwiches, quand ils sont arrivés, 45 minutes plus tard, étaient plutôt bons.
Our server was very courteous, and helpful. The food and drinks were served in a timely manner and were very tasty. Our visit was a very positive experience. Baton Rouge is one of our favorite destinations.

Notre serveuse était très attentionnée et très agréable. Une belle ambiance.
Je voulais manger du homard. J'ai pris une assiette de la mer.
La queue de homard et les 3 crevettes étaient trop cuites. La croquette de crabe n'était pas bonne. La vinaigrette italienne était très ordinaire.
C'est cher pour une qualité ordinaire.
J'ai commandé un linguine au homard et je me suis régalée. Le repas était excellent. toute la famille était ravie. Nous reviendrons.
The service was very slow but friendly and helpful. The table's special needs were met very well.

Food was great, service not so much. Server barely interacted with us and we were left with empty drinks for most of the meal. Waited for nearly 40 minutes for the main course- ridiculous.
J'avais jamais été au bouton rouge, je n'avais rien manquer. La bouffe était passable, mais des restaurants font beaucoup mieux pour un prix raisonnable.
Ça me semble tellement être un restaurant fait pour faire du cash plus qu'autre chose.
Très déçu qu’il n’y avait pas le festival du homard!
All Baton Rouge I have been to were amazing. This one was great as well until they brought me my steak.
I ordered my steak Pittsburg Medium. It was not charcoaled and was overcooked (almost well-done). After pointing it out, they brought a new steak. It was medium but not charcoaled. I decided to eat it anyway. When I spoke to the manager, he started arguing that it was cooked as ordered the first time but gave me another one in good faith. He said that it just cost him 2 steaks which now brings him to his cost for the meal. When asked for a discount for the wait and the result, he bluntly said that he was not willing to offer anything except a coffee or dessert (which I am not eating).
We went to the Baton Rouge for the evening experience but this attitude ruined it. I want to point out the outstanding performance by the service staff. Not so much by the steak and the customer service skills from the manager that night. I will rather drive to St-Constant next time, unfortunately. Very disappointed.

Food is amazing, best lobster in town!!! If you're looking for great cuisine and a nice place to eat, I recommend you come to Baton Rouge and order the 2 lobsters or the 12 Oz steak, both are heavenly plates. You can also try the chicken Santa fe or the ribs.
Nous avons commandé 2 Steaks Médium ... on nous a servi 2 steaks très saignants et il a fallu attendre à nouveau pour manger.
Quand la serveuse est revenu avec les 2 Steaks, un était Médium mais l'autre était Trop Cuit.
Nous avons dû attendre longtemps apres avoir terminé de manger pour recevoir le dessert pour souligner l'anniversaire de mon conjoint.
Très Deçus de notre souper.
L'année derniere nous sommes allés au Baton Rouge de Candiac ... Tout était Excellent.
Cette année l'anniversaire de mon conjoint à ce restaurant de Greenfield Park a été complètement gâché.
Nous avons fermement l'intention de laisser de commentaire négatives sur Trip Advisor.
Soirée très agréable, bonne nourriture, bon service, je n'ai que des bons mots!

The food was good “as usual”, but it’s the service that was great. The waitress was very nice and professional and that made a hig difference in our dining experience :)
We reserved our table for 4, printed off the confirmation and got ready to enjoy supper for Valentine's Day. When we got to the Baton Rouge, we were in a lineup and had our confirmation in hand. People were being turned away because they had no reservation. When they got to us, we were told we had no reservation through Open Table. She explained that Open Table had to call us to confirm and we never got a phone call. I did provide the email confirmation and we persisted and they finally led us to a table for 10 and there we sat, all 4 of us. We were reminded that we only had the table for 2 hours and would have to leave after that. Food was good but was not hot. Baked potato was warm and that is an exaggeration. Complaint made to Baton Rouge.
Normalement, j’aurais donné une meilleur note mais nous avions réservé pour la Saint-Valentin et ils ont overbooké alors ont c’est retrouvé assis au bar. Pas très romantique! De plus l’autesse était arrogante essayant de nous remettre la faute pour avoir réservé tard. Toutefois, la serveuse au bar était vraiment sweet, la musique très bonne et la nourriture délicieuse. Domage qu’ils est perdu le contrôle de leur système de réservation.
Excellent service et accueil, les employés ont du plaisir à travailler ensemble. Malgré le fait qu’il ne restait plus de crème de brocolis ou légumes dans la cuisine nous avons apprécié le souper.
We have been to this location many times. The staff is very friendly, however I found the service slow, even though the place was not overly crowded. I ordered the soup of the day, it was served lukewarm, my main course was Roast Beef, baked potato and vegetables, the beef like to soup was lukewarm, the vegetables were cold, the potato was fine. We were with two other couples. I spoke with one of them today he was equally unimpressed. We will never go bad, when you are paying premium price you would at least expect a decent meal.
We were so disappointed by the quality of the food. We ordered as usual the Seafood Pasta plate, the shrimp and the scallops were so over cooked!! It's a shame!! The food is not the same anymore, so much green onions in every plate, the lobster poutine was a total mess, the losbter was full of water and cheap compared to what we usually experienced. We are not going back anymore, it was our last time!!

Te chicken noodle soup to start had a lot of noodles and barely any chicken. Just call it noodle soup.
The signature ribs were burnt and dry, the mixed salad was with very little vinaigrette and completely lacking the shredded egg on top. Food in general was not what it's supposed to be at Bâton Rouge.

Great wait staff. One of our party ordered prime rib "blue". They went out of their way to try and accommodate the order. One in our party had a food allergy and carries an EpiPen. No problems at all. Great food. On a retirement budget, a little pricey for our fixed income, but for a 54th wedding anniversary celebration, well worth the extra $$$.
The food was coming out of the kitchen very fast and we didnt have time to finish the salad.
Very good service. Good food, steaks & sea food. Good Italian wines. For a group of ten people, it was very good.
Les vins ont été pris en commande mais on n'a pas demandé pour autres breuvages ( 5 personnes sur 10 voulaient de la biere). Avons du demander car le serveur demandait les commandes de repas. Repas arrivés en 3 temps avec de larges délais donc froid pour les premiers servis. La nourriture était bonne par contre très déçu du service en général

It was a very hot and humid day the restaurant didn't seem to adjust the AC accordingly making it uncomfortably hot. The service was A+ . The steak was delicious but the lobster tail was dry and my salad was lacking in dressing.
I love the new administration and especially the new employees! Our waiter and manager was extremely nice and we had great service! No extremely excellent service! Extremely happy of the food! My entire family adopted this restaurant as I love it. We all celebrate our birthday there and I initiate everyone to come eat at BR. Go to BR it's really worth it!!!
