Bahama Breeze - Newark - Christiana Mall

Well I’ve always loved going to Bahamas Breeze because of their delicious food, drinks and the nice ambiance and this was the same toddy. We came in our waitress was attentive and helpful. Our drinks and food came fast. Our food was very delicious and the drinks were on point! They had Covid protocols they had in place with the social distancing which was great! I always book again. Thank you for a great experience!

Everyone was spaced out, quick food, good service

Whenever I travel to Newark my first stop is lunch is Bahama Breeze. Love the coconut shrimp & salad combo.😋

Server was not attentive or helpful

Waiter seemed to be rushing.

This place is awesome. The food was great, reasonably priced & the ambience was very relaxing. We didn't want to leave.

Great experience for all ages at my table. We celebrated my grandfather’s 78th bday... with my grandmother husband and three children ages 11months to 12yrs . Fantastic! Thanks to our server Abrielle 12-23-20

Great service and enjoyed the meal very much

We came for my sisters birthday and it was a nice experience. Our waitress was so bomb she tended to us drinks were nice it was very satisfying. I would not suggest anyone coming here if they are looking for a good steak but besides that the food and drinks were on point.

First time ever returning food at an Bahama Breeze my currassco steak was over cooked and the chimichurri sauce looked like dried herbs on a steak. The rice was very strong with lime and a bit dried out. The black beans were good. The empanadas was greasy and the filling fell out everywhere. The hot chocolate drink my bartender made was pretty good.

Food was great, good size portions and great server.
My one disappointment is that they have stopped serving oxtail... what's a Caribbean restaurant without it...
BRING BACK THE OXTAIL!

They again must have new kitchen staff. The black bean soup was tepid we sent it back to be heated. My husband ordered his burger medium and it was way well done and my Cuban was warm only on the outside. The waitress informed the kitchen we told her that we just wanted to let them know. You would have thought at that point the kitchen manager might have come out to apologize but never did. We didn’t ask or want anything off our meal just wanted someone to be aware. We eat there a couple times a month and usually everything is good but the past few times have been lacking. May wait until everything is back to normal before we try again.

The reason I have three stars is because we are in the middle of a Pandemic. I made the reservation for us to have lunch outside. The hostess refused to seat us in the one area. She said it was closed for the season. One of the women in my party is deaf and needs to read lips. It was 60:degrees outside. We had to eat inside a plastic tent that had no open areas for the air to freely flow. We were required to wear masks unless we were eating Our server was extremely helpful. She went to the manager to see if he would make an exception to seat us outside and he refused. We even tried to order carry out and sit outside. We ended up sitting in the tent and it was difficult for us to communicate.

Our waiter was exceptional. I cannot remember his name but I hope we get so lucky again next visit :)

The waitress was amazing!!

We enjoyed are lunch. The waitress was very attentive! The Salmon was a bit overdone but still enjoyed it.

It was clean and a very nice atmosphere

Food was good, service was good. Atmosphere was a little dirty and somebody close by was obviously smoking (I don't know who and we were on an outdoor patio, but in Delaware it's illegal) and nobody who works there did anything about it.

Food was delicious. I always go to happy hour where many of the appetizers are half off. I tried a cold appetizer and would reccomend

Our server was great. She gave us plenty of time to visit and was unobtrusive. The food and drinks were good as well. I had the salmon salad, yummy!!

Very good coconut shrimp. Plenty of food to leave you full and satisfied. It was a nice change of pace from our usual dining experiences.

Sat outside.

Service was extremely fast. I had the chicken and shrimp bowl which was new. I did not like it that much. The menu has changed a lot maybe due to Covid 19. I like the old menu better, but besides that, it was good. The coconut pineapple martini was very good not too sweet but just righ.

Food was great, service was average.

I ordered a glass of the house Chardonnay the waitress stated they were running low on Chardonnay. I was served a glass and I had one more glass. We had to pay using a machine at the table. A different waitress showed us how to work it. When our waitress came back to the table I requested a copy of the receipt. Looking at the receipt I saw I was not served the house wine it was a higher price one. I feel our server should have let me know they didn’t have the house wine and would have been given the opportunity to decide if I wanted it.

Good food & great drinks

Went there for my second time I’m always seated in the same area for some reason the food took forever to get there more then half an hour wait close to 45 minutes

There was a fight, and a large loud bday party could barely hear myself, with a shortened Menu.
