Best Italian restaurants in Atlantic City / South Jersey Shore

Just a little bit tight quarters and loud. Food was good.

We decided to check out this restaurant for our wedding anniversary, having no idea where to go in Atlantic City. This was definitely the best gamble we made, and we hit big! Carlos and Harry were our servers and they took wonderful care of us. Sous chef Edgar did an amazing job of preparing our meal, and our table was right in front of the kitchen, so we could see all of the action. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. The executive chef Kevin stopped by our table, and we shared with him how happy we were with absolutely everything. The softshell crab pasta special was excellent, and the pork chop was without a doubt the best pork chop I have ever eaten. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to an order of salami toast. You won’t be disappointed. The pineapple margaritas certainly helped us enjoy our night even more. Order the pitcher…don’t be scared. if you don’t like salt, ask for the candied pineapple on the rim. You won’t regret it. If we could give more than five stars, we would. This is definitely a place we will come back to, even if we aren’t doing anything else in Atlantic City.

Definitely a go to place. And consistently very good. All aspects of the experience—ambiance, service, and food are excellent.

Always a great meal at La Cucina Ristorante. Our server, Jennifer, was excellent.

We were there for a birthday dinner for our daughter who turned 17. She had invited 5 friends that were going to pay for themselves. The restaurant's computer system did not allow for separate bills. Other than that little snafoo, the meal was great and the ambiance was spectacular!

Had dinner with family and friends for my sons graduation it was amazing. Service was excellent .

Grotto outdid themselves … from an earlier “not so good” evening .. we decided to give them another try … I’m glad that we did … the service was perfection … the margarita pizza as an appetizer was awesome … a delicious dinner and a nice bottle of wine … it was a terrific experience … thanks Grotto !!!!

Wonderful meal. The service was a little discombobulated between multiple servers/helpers. I think we only saw our actual server once or twice the entire night. The artichoke appetizer was amazing, and the pasta carbonara was delicious!

Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice Atlantic City staple. It is located inside one of Atlantic City's grand old hotels, The Claridge. It is a nice experience here, though they need to be open later into the evening, to accommodate their guests .
