Outside ambiance was nice, I was glad that we were not inside as I would not have enjoyed it as much.
Our order got delayed due to an issue in the kitchen. It took a while for the server to let us know (we were just noticing that we had been waiting a while on our main course. Waitress was apologetic and provided free dessert. So we appreciated that.
Service was horribly slow. Under staffed and got asked if I was their for Uber eats when I walked in
We love ASIA Bay. Food is consistently good; the staff are great and take care of us.
One of my worst dining experience. The food was terrible, tasted stale. Had to return soup as it had a sour, stale taste. I have been here before and my previous experience was much better which is why I came back. But this will be my last visit. Was totally disappointed.
Excellent food and our server was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great creative sushi. Top tier quality.
As always, my experience exceeded expectations! Our server was Renee and she was absolutely awesome and bubbly and friendly and she catered to us so well. Literally every time I go here my experience is amazing. Also, Kurt is an absolutely amazing manager! I love when we go there and he’s there! This restaurant delivers such excellent customer service which is hard to find now a days, trust me. Will definitely be coming back again and again! <3
Excellent service & location. Loved everything we ordered
This place had amazing ambiance, food, and service! The best asian food we have ever had! 100% recommend!
Excellent meal, good service - however, the waitress should have mentioned that the appetizer we started with (forgot the name) is basically the same as one of the dishes we ordered. Although it was delicious, we would have enjoyed something different. Of course the sashimi platter was beyond perfection!
Terrible service. Prepare to wait and wait to get any cocktails or food. Over the course of 45 minutes, 3 different workers stopped by the table. We would order and then nothing would come. No cocktails and no food. Then another worker would stop by to take our order. There did not seem to be a particular waiter assigned to us. There also did not seem to be enough waiters. Clearly the result of incompetent management.
Had a wonderful experience at first. Very charismatic waiter and wonderful appetizers. I have an avocado allergy, it’s not as serious as it was as a child but still bad enough to cause welts and swelling in my mouth and face. I made it very clear to the waiter that I had this allergy and he said he would inform the chef. I iterated that it’s fine for my food to be prepared in the same area, but I could not have any avocado in my meal. Halfway through my sushi roll I looked and saw what I thought was avocado. As someone who doesn’t eat it I really didn’t know what it tasted like. My boyfriend ate it and it was quite clear that there was avocado. My mouth swelled and when we told the waiter he became combative and flippant, saying he’d go talk to the chefs but there’s no way it was his fault. I’m fine, but honestly if my allergy was any worse, or got forbid a deadly allergy like it very well could have been, this could have ended very badly. Handled very poorly.
Asia Bay is a favorite Las Olas spot. We love the outdoor seating. Our food was fantastic! Between the six of us, we had Tom Yum and Tom Kha soup - both great! A sushi roll - very fresh. Three pad thai dishes plus two curry dishes. Again - all good! Only one small hiccup....one gal ordered her pad thai with no spice/mild, and it came out as a medium and was way too hot for her. I can tolerate hot and medium is plenty spicy. Alfred is an efficient and friendly server. BONUS: they offer a full bar now!
Way too expensive for the quality & service. $300 for 3 of us - each only had 1 drink. Not worth it.
Great food and ambiance
Enjoyed a wonderful sushi dinner with my daughter by the water. Highly recommend the soft shell crab and coconut shrimp as appetizers. Our rolls were made fresh. Would come back here next time we’re in Ft. Lauderdale
Very just amazing food and atmosphere
This place was pretty good! I had the tom kha soup and a thai noodle dish. My friend had some sushi. Overall the food was decent and the service was awesome. A little overpriced for the quality, though.
Food was very good
We sat outside under umbrellas which was lovely . It started to rain and the staff could Not have been more accommodating . They moved our tables to ensure we were covered and offered To relocate us inside . The food and service were excellent . Would highly recommend !
Service was so slow. It wasn’t that busy and it was a Friday night. We sat for 2 hours because we were waiting for our food not because we were enjoying our meal. When we finally got our sushi it was absolutely delicious but the wait was too long.
Lobster and shrimp pad Thai! Need I say more? Outstanding food on the canal with nice atmosphere, great for foodies and folks in search of a great find.
The service was horrific and the food was average. Not worth it at all. The one is Bal Harbour is so much better
After finding out that the chef was from Thailand, I ordered a Thai dish, Drunken Noodles! It was flaborful and good to the last bite!! My friend orderd sushi and enjoyed it and reported the fish is so fresh.
Food was mediocre, ambiance non-existent.
Came highly recommended but failed to live up to expectations!
Great service and great food ! I would definitely go back and recommend to a friend.
We had the Tuna Lover and Mexican rolls and they were fantastic. Wayne really took care of us.
The food was really good and our server was excellent
Food and service was good , but the ambiance wasn’t that great as the picture in website.
Alfred was a fabulous waiter. Very knowledgeable about the menu and also made the whole evening fun. One of the best waiters we have had in Ft Lauderdale! Food was excellent and came out hot and delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant
I had high expectations from reading reviews but it was very very average. Presentation of food was good but it was pretty bland all round and the service was non existent.
This used to be one of our favorite Fort Lauderdale restaurants. Our last visit was disappointing. We were seated inside where it was freezing and we seemed like an after thought to the staff. Our shrimp shumai was not hot enough and there seemed to be conflict among the staff. Maybe we should have insisted on sitting outside where it seemed busier and better attended.
We have been enjoying the food and service at Asia Bay for years! Sit outside if the weather permits. It's lovely. Food is always delicious and fresh. Everything from our sushi to Thai main courses were excellent. Servers are pleasant and helpful. Always
Waited 45 min for drinks, another 35 for the second round, waitress disappeared for 30 min every time she came by the table, people next to us had the same experience and ate their appetizers with their hands after waiting 15 min after asking for cutlery!
We had dinner at Asia Bay Sushi Bar & Thai. We shared the tempura salmon roll and the Mexican roll. They were literally melt in your mouth good! We also had sashimi. Each piece was again melt in your mouth fresh and delicious! We’ve already recommended this place to family. We will definitely return!
Food was amazing, but our server Tracy was so patient and nice for a very diverse group and busy night! I'm happy we selected Asia Bay for our reunion.
One of the best restaurants I have ever ate at. The food was amazing and the service was nothing but the best. I would recommend to everyone. The crab ragoons are one of the best I have ever tasted.
Very nice atmosphere & even better food. The service was awesome
Asia Bay is our go-to restaurant for Valentine's Day. There were a few *slow* aspects, i.e. receiving some of our dishes, initial soy sauce, wasabi, etc. (very minor), but given that it was Valentine's Day, it was understandable. Our server was lovely, the food was delicious and the location/ambiance is outstanding. It is somewhat pricey, but it's also on a canal off Las Olas with outdoor heaters to allow year-round outdoor seating. We had sashimi, sushi, pad thai, age tofu and sake. The food is beautifully presented, fresh and nicely seasoned. We were even given chocolate hearts as a final touch. Definitely recommended for Date Night.
