Really nice restaurant.
Beautiful meal, helpful staff , just the noise level let it down ....a rowdy table of 4 and a large family gathering . Wouldn't stop us going again.
The service from the staff and the quality of the food was outstanding.
We opted for the £20 for three courses offer. Speciality platter Starter was delicious. Both of our mains also good. Portion size ample although the strange rule of one small bowl of rice between two on the offer is rather petty. Rice is very cheap especially when bought in large wholesale sacks!!
The two desert options were very authentic and unfortunately too sweet . Maybe a third choice of ice cream would be a great idea.
Other than that it was a very good evening. Good Covid awareness. However the head waiter /Manager did not wear a mask. .
Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Food was exceptional - King Prawn starter was unreal - and service was spot on.
Perfect date night if you fancy an upmarket Indian.
Very impressed with this restaurant
The food was amazing, presentation and staff first class, and the manager was a very charming man.
Will definitely return x
Staff were attentive and friendly service was great
Very nice food, staff really friendly and helpful, classy and well decorated inside
Quality service some of the best ever had.
Really good venue and food.
We absolutely love Asha’s. The food is fantastic and the staff are great. We went on a Saturday night and it was quite full (good sign) but the noise level was quite high so I think next time we will pick an earlier time.
Dinner with the family.
The food was of a standard quality compared to the price paid. The food was not amazing.
Ambiance was nice.
the best indian food. real taste for indians living in manchester.
hard to find food like ashas around here.
Have had quite a few visits to now, have always had good food and service. Would definitely recommend s a visit.
My wife and I had a first rate evening. The food was of a high standard, the Goan prawns, grilled lamb and chicken tikka masala we’re outstanding. The service was genuine, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is quite pricey but offers excellent value. We will most certainly be returning
The food as always was very good....the waitress that served us was excellent and very helpful. Overall we had a very enjoyable time and will visit again.
Really great waiters, always come and refill your drinks without disturbing. And don’t constantly buzz and disturb your table asking if everything is okay or trying to get you to order more food. Waiter did give us one rice instead of two though but we didn’t bother. Vibe is really nice not too hectic although we went on a Tuesday evening. Chicken jalfrezi is amaZing, butter chicken isn’t the best I’ve had.
We thoroughly enjoyed a joint birthday meal here - the service is exceptional, friendly and thoughtful. The food is another level - a cut above the usual Indian fare. Very impressed!
Excellent food and wonderful and attentive service by our waiter!
Loved the anniversary cake too Thankyou!
Would definitely return
The food was superb I have eaten in Michelin starred Indian restaurants where the food was not as good. The platter at £85 seems expensive but it was worth it and the service and overall experience was really great. I was dropping my son at Manchester Uni and I will make sure I pick him up to give Ashas another try!
Have been before and will definitely go again and if you haven’t, you must!
Absolutely wonderful surprise that the food bill was covered as part of the 5th anniversary celebration.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere.
Thank you so much Asha’s
Absolutely stunning meal, best Indian cuisine in Manchester
Really good atmosphere, Good food but a bit overpriced however the day we went we ended up getting our food for free due to a partnership with MasterCard and open table I think? So all we had to pay for were the drinks so no complaints! We were served very quickly and got our food really quick! Was served by Minna who was very lovely and professional and lovely to chat to.
Excellent poppadoms and chutneys to start. Lamb chops and biriani really good food.
We came here for a family birthday meal, our first time eating out since the lockdown, and have only good things to say about our experience.
It was a Sunday night, and the place was quiet, but the friendliness of the staff and the lovely interior made for a great atmosphere. Apparently the menu is reduced due to Covid-related reasons (economic?) but there is still plenty to choose from.
Delicious food all round -- the dishes we ordered all had a hearty spice kick to them: we loved it all.
Waiting staff were absolutely wonderful, and made the whole experience very special, even singing a (masked) happy birthday and bringing a complimentary dessert. Thanks Asha's for such a memorable night out.
If you after an Indian restaurant in Manchester I couldn’t recommend this place enough.
The best peshwari naan I have ever had. Great food.
Really delicious food, we had the butter chicken and a chicken biryani with garlic naan. Atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was really nice, felt very luxurious. The waiting staff were attentive and polite.
Excellent food, staff very attentive, really enjoyed our evening
Scared of having a curry from anywhere else now as I just don’t think it can live up to how exceptional that Tikka Masala was. Best curry place in Manchester, possibly the UK.
My husband and a I went for his birthday.
As it was the last day for eat in to help out there were two menus on offer. My husband asked our waiter a question regarding the menu which the waiter sniggered at and walked across to the tills to tell the rest of the waiters, loud enough so we could hear.
I thought this was quite rude as we only asked him a question and didnt need to be made fun of for this.
The starter was also extremely dry and the main course has been better in the past.
I was disappointed, I have been a loyal customer to Asha's in the past and have always advised my family and friends to visit which they have unfortunately the food isn't quite up to the standard for the prices anymore.
overrated - cold+mass made food just served in a fancy way..
We loved the food but the veg options are very limited compared to other restaurants.
Though were a bit disappointed that we had to check the bill and notify you that you havent applied 50% discount on the additional item we ordered. While visiting the restuarant of your stature, we shouldnt have to check the bill and find errors. seems a bit unprofessional !
The best Indian restaurant by a mile, best food best service. Lovely and clean. Great atmosphere. Live ashas
First visit to this restaurant. We had the most amazing Indian meal and can't ever think of having anything near as good. Good choice of menu and lovely atmosphere. All staff were all excellent and very attentive. Will be back very soon.
Hi, my partner booked me on Voucher for ashes. She paid £27 for a meal deal worth £70. But at the end of the meal she gave me a bill for 66 pounds witch was not correct. Because I’d already paid before hand. I tried to explain to the manager but she just ignored my request. So I paid the bill and left because I was with my daughter . I have never used these deals before. always paid cash and my bills were always over £100. And I have been a frequent quest to ashes.
Great place, good food, good ambience but overpriced for what it is.
Second time to Ashas and it was again top drawer. The food is extremely good and they looked four of us very well. The wine was also excellent, and the service very good. Yes, it’s not cheap but it’s a top top restaurant so what do you expect. Very good night out, again.
We have dined here before and it was great, hence why I booked again.
Upon arrival this time we were shown to our seat by a very frosty front of house person. After waiting for far long we had to ask for drinks.
The starters were OK. Then the main came. The chicken was raw in the middle. They took away my partners plate which had other edible items on and said they would replace the chicken but not anything else on the plate. The person who came to deal with it was almost argumentative saying the chicken was cooked when it blatantly wasn't.
They then charged us half for each of the food items what were left which we didn't fully eat as the evening had been ruined. The girl who was our waitress was very pleasant and its a shame all staff are no where near as consistent or as nice as she was.
Not one to complain but £65 for quite possibly the worst dining experience I've had.
Needless to say we won't be returning.
We went to dishoom the week before which was perfect and beats ashas hands down. If you want a decent curry, friendly staff and good atmosphere then head to dishoom instead
Eat out to Help out - great meal, great value, great service
The fish in batter was nice and also the seek kebab. The mains were very disappointing especially the butter milk chicken curry. The level of food that was delivered was way below my expectations and for the price your expecting dishes full of flavour. They clearly used canned potatoes I mean who at this level would do that? Extremely poor and with so many better options in Manchester I’m surprised if they get repeat customers.
