The kitchen needs a new chef. The food is sub par but can be improved.
Love this place. Comfortable, friendly and great food.
It was a fixed menu for Christmas Eve. The service was extremely poor and the quality of food was not very high. I would suggest for the money going somewhere else. I was extremely disappointed with my meal
Excellent menu , service and food was delicious 😊
I like this place. I had dinner on 12/13 and I liked it. I've been here before, and I will go back. The ambiance is excellent, nice, quiet, tables not on top of each other, etc. You are able to have a nice conversation, a very good time, and enjoy yourself. Service is excellent. I also very much like this is a separate, stand-alone building...which has parking!!! This is a big plus vis a vis "downtown" Pearl River, or even Nyack, Piermont, etc.
The food is good. Nice variety, both on the fish and meat side. I've had both here and all of the time, the food is good. I eat out a lot and I am a foodie, so I like what I like, and I am focused on food. Last night I had the tuna, which can be a make or break dish, in that it all comes down to the quality of the fish. The dish was prepared, executed and presented well, but, the tuna was just a bit "tough" (stringy, veiny, etc.). It was OK, good, but just had a bit of that toughness. I ate it and finished it for the most part, but I am critical of tuna. I want it to be the heart of the filet, soft, tender, through and through, no veins, toughness, etc. However, it was still good, and I will still go back and would order the tuna again. You just had to have a high-quality, excellent cut of tuna.
Overall, nice place, good food, excellent ambiance. I like it and will go back!
The food would make it worth the drive from NYC again. Also the service was outstanding.
Large party occupied the main dining room. Seated in a round booth. Waiter was Shannon. Usual great food.
Weird smell in area where seated, definitely interfered with dining experience. Otherwise the buffet was good, not great. Some dishes seemed bland to me.
Dinner with friends. Good service, not rushed. Liked the Prix Fixe menu.
Only one non fish appetizer & entree. Server was inexperienced and served our entree before we were finished our salad.
Excellent food and service. Wonderful ambiance. Would definitely return
Restaurant Week Dinner and half price wine on Wednesday!
Unfortunately restaurant was almost empty

A solid buffet style brunch with excellent food and a good variety of menu items. Also a carving station and omelette station. Unlimited mimosas. You have to pay for the first bloody Mary but they are free after that. All in all a very good value.
Our party of five made reservations for Sunday Brunch at 11:15. We arrived on time and were seated promptly at a spacious round table by the window - and greeted by a friendly server. Mimosas, coffee, tea, soda, juice and water was offered to us, and brought over shortly after. All of the food available on the Brunch buffet was displayed in a pleasing manner. The food was delicious, however, a few dishes that are meant to be hot were slightly cold, taken directly from the chafing dishes, a bummer because it was tasty. One recommendation for the Eggs Benedict is for the sauce to be available on the side - then it would be the bomb. The small amount dribbled on the top didn't seem to be enough for a few of our liking. Plates were politely cleared from our table by server to allow for a second visit to the buffet, and we never felt rushed at all. Hot fresh coffee in a serving carafe was continually replaced on our table as needed. We enjoyed our visit with family and would return again for the Sunday Brunch at another time in the future.
Our waiter was excellent,
A wonderful date night experience! Sat outside, was quiet, great food and our waiter Shanon was marvelous!
Finally after so many years of living near this rest I finally tried it. This place is basically a glorified diner. Nothing we ate (party of 8) was rememberable and unfortunately the swordfish was uneatable. Prices were fair but the food was just not that good. Don’t think I’d go back
This is consistently good. Good food, good service, good choice of items on menu. Never disappoints. Our neighborhood go to restaurant and everyone couple we've had join us continue to go their on their own.
Always good food, always reliable!
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere at a good price.
Matt our waiter was excellent
Food was outstanding
Fresh and hot
Experience is consistent: excellent. Food, service and quiet ambience all come together. Unhurried and relaxing.
We went to AquaTerra Grille for our 40th wedding anniversary. Definitely made a great choice out of the three I was considering. The onion soup that I had was some of the best I have eaten and the potato wrapped cod had a flavor that was quite delicious.
We are never disappointed when we have a meal at AquaTerra. We especially love the appetizers, but everything is excellent.
Because it was fathers day of course it was more crowed then normal. We had about a five minute wait when we got there (party of 4) Our server was very nice, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. The food was very good, hot and plentyful. We had a nice relaxing brunch, we never felt like we were being rushed.
Always a good experience at Aquaterra
Great time . Enjoyed the music outside!
Food is very good and everybody there is a very friendly!
Went there for Mother’s Day. Food and service were great! This was our first time dining there—we will absolutely go back. The only issue was the tables are small. We were a party of 6 and felt like we were a little crammed. Sure it would be fine any other day—I get Mother’s Day is a busy day.
very nice and good place for brunch, but overcrowded it and not too many food options
We had a wonderful Saturday night Mother’s Day celebration. Even though the restaurant was packed, the server did not skip a beat!
The restaurant is nice. I've been there before. Today wasn't the best. Took my mother there for dinner. Her food came out almost 10 minutes before my food came out. I watched her eat and then she watched me eat. I mentioned it to the waiter who did tell us he was new. I suggested next time he tell the kitchen the food should come out at the same time because my mother did order before I was ready to order. He informed me he did tell the kitchen the food should come out at the same time. So that's on the kitchen staff. The food was just OK. My lobster tacos were tasty, but the lobster was a bit over cooked and rubbery, the staff is friendly and atmosphere is nice there.
Was seated in room with big party of loud obnoxious people
Over salted food and mediocre service. Wasn’t a pleasant dining experience at all. I had the scallops with risotto. The scallops were fine, however the risotto was inedible. Completely drowning in salt. I expected a lot more unfortunately.
Our food was perfection, the drinks were okay, our waiter Peterson was phenomenal and attentive. Will definitely return.
Meal was delicious and serve was prompt and efficient. Lamb shank was outstanding, as was the Cracker Jack ice cream sundae (you know you want to try it 😁). Highly recommended.
Good food and service.
I think the 10 and under for kids, is a little extreme, my 11 yr old doesn’t eat enough to justify the adult price. Overall service and food was great.
Greek influenced Mediterranean food. Fish was super fresh and the best part of the meal. They would really complete the excellent dining experience if they could get their service up a couple of notches. Service was friendly but slow. The staff just needs training in fine ding. Also the free salad shoe 86ed in favor of gourmet salads they could charge for. The free salad is a reminder of what you would get in a diner. Good for free but didn’t add anything to the meal.
Very pleasant meal in nice setting, good attentive service, and creative offerings for Restaurant Week!
Made a reservation in advance, had to wait over 10 minutes for a table to be seated in a diner-like compartment.
Food was mediocre, wouldn’t be coming back.
