    We had a one-night layover in Frankfurt and wanted to try some authentic German food. After a little AI searching, we landed on Apfelweinwirtschaft Wagner, and it was a great choice. We were lucky to have reservations because the place was absolutely packed. The communal tables were full of locals having drinks and dinner, and the whole restaurant had a fun, lively, social atmosphere. You can tell this is the kind of place where regulars come to meet up with friends. Our waiter was incredible. At one point he even sat down with us and started asking where we were from, where we had been traveling, and what brought us to Frankfurt. He made the experience that much more memorable. We ordered the German sampler platter for four, which included pork knuckle, ribs and several other traditional items. We also tried the bratwurst and the ham-and-cheese-stuffed schnitzel. Everything we had was very good. One tip: don't ask for a beer! They will quickly let you know they don't serve it. Their specialty is traditional apple wine, which was actually very tasty and definitely worth trying. They also serve cocktails. If you're visiting Frankfurt and want a fun, authentic German dining experience rather than something touristy or fancy, I would highly recommend Apfelweinwirtschaft Wagner. Great food, great atmosphere and a really memorable night.

    Die Reservierung für 13 Personen hat perfekt geklappt, auch die telefonische Änderung. Wir haben einen schönen Tisch bekommen, obwohl wir später kamen. Der Service war sehr lustig und schlagfertig. Obwohl die Bestellungen sehr unterschiedlich und individuell waren, hat alles gut funktioniert. Die Essen kamen nicht zusammen, ist aber für eine Apfelweinwirtschaft nicht erforderlich. Manche hatten ihre Speise schon verzehrt, andere hatten noch nicht ihr Gericht. Essen war angemessen, es hat sich keiner beschwert.

    Bewährte und traditionelle Ebbelwoi-Wirtschaft, mit gutem Ebbelwoi und sehr leckerer frisch gekochten Gerichten. Die berühmte Frankfurter grüne Sauce ist hier so zubereitet, wie man es auch zu Hause frisch machen würde. Sehr gut! Obwohl viele Touristen herkommen, ist es auch beliebter Treffpunkt für Einheimische und Wahl-Frankfurter, gut gemischt und keine Tourifalle, weder im Preis, noch in der Qualität der Speisen. Jederzeit wieder!

    A must if in Frankfurt. The most delicious sausage and sauerkraut I have ever had. The Apfelwein is crisp and delicious. Highly recommended!

    Das Restaurant gehört zu einem Frankfurtbesuch! Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gut. Das Essen war preiswert und die Portionen groß genug für alle. Der Apfelwein war wie erwartet - lecker. Die Service war auch sehr gut. Alles ging schnell und trotz der vielen Leuten in meiner Gruppe war alles richtig.
