We had terrible service here tonight and the food wasn’t up to it’s usual high standard. We had reservations at 4:45 and were seated right away but then it went down hill. It took a very long time to get drinks. Then we ordered and our waitress did not return to the table until after our food arrived. We were about a quarter of the way into our meal when she asked if we wanted Parmesan cheese. It also took 15 minutes to get the kids their ice cream. It was about a 90 minute dinner by the time we’d finished paying. We frequent Lettuce restaurants and this was not up to their standards. I will say the manager handled the situation well but unfortunately we won’t be rushing back...

We enjoyed everything about our experience. It is a lovely restaurant, comfortable and wish a low level of noise despite being quite busy. Service is pleasant and efficient. We had an appetizer, salad, and the entree of the day. Perfectly prepared and attractively présented.

Wonderful staff & Rebecca is a terrific server. Pleasant & attentive. Appetizers were good, pasta average, not great. Caccio peppe was undercooked & in some type of white sauce. Not traditional cheese / pepper / pasta water.

Had a wonderful dinner. We split the beet salad to start. Then I had the mushroom gnocchi and my husband had the short ribs. The gnocchi was to die for - light, puffy gnocchi with delicious meaty mushrooms. The short rib was excellent as well. The service was great. Highly recommend.

Fresh handmade pastas that are absolute delight to feast. Loved the Baked Parmesan chicken entrée layered in a bed of vibrant fresh tomato sauce with little nest of pasta on the side :)

The risotto was out of this world. Every morsel was a treat, we paired it with the Gnocchi delicate and the flavor is unmatched very well done antico this is why it’s my girlfriend and my favorite restaurant. Can’t get enough 🤩 pair it with an amazing cab sav 🍷

Yes I would recommend it and would go back in a heartbeat. However it is the hardest restaurant to find. It's tucked away on an upper floor , not visible from the road or parking garage. In fact we couldn't find our car after dinner and started walking home, which was at least a few miles away. Luckily we hitched a rid with a nice couple. Dangerous, I know but there was no other choice. They really need to pinpoint where to park and which stairs are closet to the restaurant.

We had dinner here on Valentine's Day. The food was unique and appropriately priced. The wine list was extensive, and our server was attentive, informative, and just plain fun! The only thing keeping me from giving the highest score is the parking situation. Since this is in the mall, the parking is in a deck nearby. While it wasn't horribly far to walk, it was a very cold night, and parking right out front or valet parking would have been a great addition on this night. Very good restaurant! We will go again!

Pretty good. Noisy, and make a reservation. Try not to sit near the entrance. My beet salad seemed to be missing the ingredient of cheese, and our waiter brought the check without even asking if we wanted coffee or dessert. Weird.
But beef risotto was amazing.

Our server Stephanie was amazing! She suggested the chicken meatball appetizer and it was wonderful. My husband had the chicken parmesan and loved it. I didn't even get a taste. One of our group wanted a vegan gluten free option and got the pasta marinara and said it was great. We all got dinner salads as well, which were fabulous. We had no room for desert but will definitely be back again!

Seems to be more crowded than usual, it wasn’t when we were seated but the amount of people trying to sit down was insane they just don’t have the room for that many people waiting. Plus it’s been cold outside.

I’m Italian and this restaurant is not at all.
We ordered pasta cacio e pepe... horrible.
Do you wanna try a real cacio e pepe, go to eataly in chicago downtown and you will understand what I’m talking about.
I don’t even know how it can be ranked n 1 restaurant in this area.

Always a favorite place for my family. This was a birthday dinner for my wife and the excellent service made it special for her. I really appreciate it. The filet medallions and special whitefish were very good. Drinks/wine were very good. Beet salad was just ok, needed a little more taste. Overall, terrific!
