Group of 4, moms bday dinner, restaurant not busy, service not great. Desserts could use an upgrade.
Tables are close together and somewhat stacked vertically. Marina view is good. My kingdom for a private-like booth with a water view and somewhat removed from others. Voices from other diners was just below interfering with our conversation. Overall, like the place. Definite family and larger group vibe.
Noise level was low. The service was excellent. The salmon was perfect. A great experience.
Annual Lobster Dinner was excellent. The rice pilaf is always one of my favorites and the zucchini was tasty. Caesar and clam chowder were good as was the fettuccine with 1/2 lobster tail.
Anthony’s always does such a nice job.
ALWAYS consistently good. Others may feel there are better seafood restaurants , but Anthony’s delivers a consistently good experience every time.
I would like to know how they get the smallest clams I’ve ever seen into the large shells? Seems they have lost their soul to be a quality restaurant!
Lobster and Caesar salad was really good. Steak was under cooked. Bailey's mousse was amazing! Service was excellent and ambiance was perfect.
We had the Lobster special. Very good.
Lovely sunset (and lobster) dinner with old friends.
We went for a late brunch on Sunday upstairs and was perfect for our group of nine. Best part was getting the family ladies together which was long over due. Our waitress was wonderful and the corner view was great. Never disappointed when we go to Anthony's for food and outlook.
Surprisingly the fish was over cooked and had a lot of butter. The side dishes were cold. The drinks were delicious (pear martini) and the bar had a nice live musician playing.
I’ve always enjoyed dining at Anthony’s in the past, so when we had family in town that loves seafood, Anthony’s was the obvious choice. The server was pleasant but not overly friendly or nice. The food came out quickly, but was very bland. We were definitely underwhelmed. It was a Saturday evening and not busy at all. We will try another restaurant over Anthony’s next time.
Easily accommodated our changed reservation. Nice window-side seating and free dessert for our birthday celebration. Food was mostly excellent, especially the halibut and the crab cakes, though overpriced at $13 each! However, the salmon seemed slightly off/less than absolutely fresh - so it went home to the cat. (Expensive cat treat!) This lapse was unusual for Anthony's so we likely will be back for another occasion soon.
We went for the lobster special for $26, which was cooked to perfection, but was smaller than anticipated, maybe four ounces, but the veges, rice, crab dip, and beverages were plentiful. No room for dessert. The warm atmosphere and friendly clientele made for a special evening.
Celebrating thanksgiving with significant over early since both busy day of
Great food and service. Just the place to go for an outstanding meal. Prawns where large and excellent without a lot of batter. Seafood Salad had lots of seafood but could have used more dressing. Halibut was excellent as always. Service is top notch and staff friendly.
The location and service were nice. The food was mediocre and a bit bland.
Great food and experience
We all had different things and all of it was really really good!
One of our favorite seafood restaurants when we visit the Northwest. Service is excellent. The view spectacular. This trip I had crab fettuccini as an entree calamari as a starter. Both were prepared beautifully. The seafood is always incredibly fresh.
Great food, everything was wonferful, with exception of the great noise. That, alone was a real downer. Food was first rate.
Have always had a great experience @ this Anthony's, and this last time was no exception.
Look forward to the next visit
Had a great Dinner. Food and ambiance was memorable. Wait staff were attentive and courteous. Never felt rushed. Great place to celebrate!
Food, service, and ambiance were very good. I think the prices are bordering on unaffordability if one is hosting a large group.
We celebrated mom's 78th birthday there. It was perfect!
Great food and service by Jori. Always a great experience especially for a major event such as a birthday or anniversary.
Had an amazing dinner date bight with my husband. Thank you.
Great view and delicious food. Just stick with the seafood, not the steak.
Really nice place to eat! Great view of the water front! Great friendly service! Excellent menu!
Excellent food and service. We were having a long, leisurely business lunch and didn’t want to be rushed. The server recognized that we weren’t in a hurry and made us feel right at home. The view was fantastic...there was a seal swimming and playing right in front of us. For our leisurely lunch we started with delicious oysters on the half shell, and then the clam and seasonal crab corn chowder. The crab corn chowder was so tasty I could have eaten a bucket of it!! The halibut entree was outstanding; fish was cooked perfectly and without a cloying sauce that masks the flavor. In fact, I feel like the food was better at this Anthony’s than the other locations I’ve visited. Everything was so good we couldn’t say no to dessert...and the Wild Huckleberry Mini Slump was everything we wanted and more. I haven’t been to this location in about 12 years (maybe more) but I’ll be back!
It was our anniversary and we enjoyed a wonderful sunset dinner overlooking Puget Sound and the Des Moines marina. Virtually no wait time, an attentive waitstaff, outstanding meal made the evening stand out.
Always a great experience! Great food and service!
Good value a little pricey but good family food Anthony's is well lit and customer service oriented
Great views, great food, south sound dependable..!
Everyone was great, as was the food!
The seafood was absolutely excellent. I had the cioppino, because I like a variety, and i was not disappointed. It did take quite a while to get served, and it was a bit loud at the start. But by the end it quieted down, perhaps because everybody else left by the time we got our check. We sat down at about 7pm, and we didn't get the check until at least 9pm. Other than taking too long, it was a great experience.
Gloria was an awesome wait person. Our food was delicious. We arrived in time to see a beautiful sunset.
I had friends visiting from NJ & Philadelphia. We enjoyed a wonderful meal!
Overall experience was great, but the Ciapino was not cooked correctly. Too salty. As if the salt shaker top fell off while seasoning. To Anthony’s credit they did discount the final bill. Otherwise I would recommend Anthony’s.
The food was well served and presented. I had the steak. Potatoes were undone. The New York steak was mediocre, at best, it was cooked correctly, medium rare, but was tasteless. The Classic Caesar Salad was very good.
