ALL WINE BOTTLE HALF OFF ON TUESDAYS
Enjoy delicious Italian food and a great bottle of wine in our dining room with crisp white linen, candle light and soft music in the background. Or on our terrace, just like the Italians!
Our dining experience was great. Nice and quiet, but likely due to the COVID restrictions limiting the amount of diners. Reservations seemed required. We had our favorite dining items.
Great authentic food! Perfect for our family.
Fresh! Delish! And staff was super sweet and attentive! Will be back for sure!
Overall this was the most disappointing dinner experience we have had in years. We debated how
- The lemon drop was meh (not much lemon flavor). The glass of chianti was meh. The value was meh.
Appetizers: The bread was tasty and enjoyable. The lobster bisque soup was mediocre and . . filled with shrimp. The Andiamo salad greens were fresh and the flavor was good... the highlight of our meal.
Entrees: One entree was a spicy spaghetti special and it was pretty good. It had a lot going on and we especially liked the olives but again the shrimp was overcooked. The other entree was Cappellini with shrimp and crab - it was bland and was really more about the shrimp...which was overcooked.
Dessert: Not tonight.
Service: The table was ready on time. The server was pleasant and offered to replace the Cappellini with Lasagne. She apologized that the meal did not meet our expectations.
love the atmosphere and the food and the friendly of the waitress
Valentine’s Day, it was pretty busy but got our food quick! Bread was not toasted and it usually is.
Have dined here three times in the past, but this was a different and very disappointing experience on Valentine’s Day. Those of us with reservations all got phone calls making sure we knew about the limited menu, which was fine, but it wasn’t until the evening itself that I realized how un-Italian the dishes were. Even some fresh bread with olive oil would’ve helped…. More disappointing was actually just the feel of the evening and the service. They seemed dedicated to squeezing in a few more tables for a busy night, but didn’t staff up, and our server was overwhelmed. No inquiry about 2nd drinks ever came, waters ran dry, and we had to ask about coffee only when our dessert arrived - by then it was awkward. The dishes were not introduced, they were just dropped on our table without a word. In short, the experience was not worth nearly the high price tag.
Oh, and there is no sign in the parking garage about validated parking, until you get to the actual door of the restaurant (after which I’d already used the CallToPark app).
The food was good, the service was good, and the prices were fine. Nothing about the experience says return again.
The service was slow and the server did not know much about menu and could not answer any of the questions we asked. It was not even busy night but the service was very slow. It was very overpriced and disappointing.
This one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Bellevue area. It has a very corner neighborhood vibe. The Waiters are very professional and most importantly the food is delicious.
Music too loud
Crab and shrimp pasta special was tasty but could not tell there was any crab in it.
The main entrees were tasty. However, there is only so much creamy pasta you can eat. It would have been nice if they came with small sides like some vegetable. The complimentary bread was room temperature, and nothing better than your average store bought bread, so not worth the calories. The small gesture of warming the bread would pay huge dividends in how customers feel about this portion of the meal. The server was nice, but when she asked if we wanted any dried chili or grated cheese added to our dish, I thought she would leave the rest at our table after adding a little to our dish, but she took it away. I found this surprising, because how would we know how much we would like added to our dish without tasting it in the first place? Secondly, she never asked us how we liked our dishes, which was fine, except this restaurant automatically adds an 18% gratuity to the bill for a table of two. Even that would have been sort of okay except the 18% was calculated on the food plus tax, instead of just the food, so the effective gratuity was more than 18%. That was just ridiculous since the service wasn't very good.
Andiamo's a real gem in downtown Bellevue, for fine Italian food.
Went in on a weeknight for our first visit and enjoyed half priced wine bottle on Tuesday. Service was fast and attentive. Cute traditional style, music and menu. We will definitely be back for a date night. Lasagna, crab pasta special and appetizers were all excellent. Small intimate restaurant highly recommend for date nights or taking out the parents without a lot of big scene attitude for staff or fellow diners. Overall great!
The steamed clams in broth were outstanding, and the spinach salad was excellent. My spaghetti was perfect and husband's mushroom ravioli was earthy and delicious. The downside to a perfect meal was the fire alarm in the apartments upstairs going off. It took a long time for the fire department to come and turn it off. We had to stuff paper in our ears. Not Andiamo's fault though and hopefully doesn't happen often because I'd like to go back soon and repeat the meal we had.
Andiamo is a restaurant which we have visited several times over the last 8 to 10 years. This night we had an advanced reservation and arrived a bit early. The restaurant had few customers seated when we arrived but filled up as we ate. We were served by two waiters. The older one obviously wanted to rush us through. Even though we told him we wanted to enjoy our drink and to give us ten minutes, he was back in two. and again two minutes later. The younger waiter seemed to understand that we were not taking undue time and was very pleasant. As always the food was good.
Shortly after desert and coffee were served, a very loud fire alarm horn went off and continued. It was extremely loud and diners were holding their hands over their ears, stuffing paper in their ears, etc. The older waiter came by and said this happens "sometimes" and it would take 8 to 10 minutes to turn off. We asked for our check, paid and left. No discount or invitation back, etc. was offered. Since the restaurant had our contact information from the reservation and had the opportunity to comp our desert and coffee which we did not finish, I felt that our patronage was not valued.
This obviously was an unusual event, but it had happened before. There should have been a plan in place to deal with the diners discomfort and inconvenience.
We were a large party of 15 on Christmas Eve. They managed our table very well! The food was great, and the place felt more like home than a restaurant. It was perfect for the occasion.
Great food and service was top notch. Quaint setting and romantic ambiance, perfect for date night.
The food was delicious and it was a great location that could easily accommodate our party of 7. The staff was attentive and friendly. Parking wasn’t a problem. Everyone loved the food they ordered.
Wonderful, neighborhood Italian restaurant with good portions. The cannelloni was wonderful.
Bad, expensive food and even worse service. Not much more to say about this place. Will never go back.
Got to the restaurant earlier than expected and server was very accommodating, got us seated shortly after we arrived. Food was very delicious.
We hadn't been to Andiamo in about ten years but decided to meet some friends there for dinner recently. First things first: the parking. The last time we were there, we did not have to "Pay by Phone." Now there are multiple Pay by Phone stalls. You do NOT have to pay. Simply tell the restaurant what stall you're in, and they'll take care of parking for you. Unfortunately, we paid by phone first, then told the restaurant, and there was nothing they could do about it. It would have been nice for the restaurant to have let us know in either the email confirmation of the reservation or via a telephone call.
Secondly, for a party of four, for some reason an automatic 18% gratuity was added to our bill. We've seen this done in restaurants for parties of six or more, but never for a smaller party like ours. It's a good thing one of the four of us brought our reading glasses that evening because as dark as the restaurant was, we would've never noticed the 18% gratuity added onto our bill had we not had them!
Lastly, the food. My wife and I had one of the specials of the evening which was a pasta with shrimp & crab in an arrabiata sauce. Neither of us could find any crab meat. I thought the taste of the sauce was pretty good and the shrimp was cooked perfectly, but my wife thought the sauce was on the bland side. The desserts were great, though.
Food is pretty good and decent wine options. Nothing to complain about - it's on the smaller side so I can image on weekends it could fill up quickly but on a weeknight was not a problem.
Gnocchi and pasta both very good.
Had an enjoyable meal with my niece and nephew. Food was great, service was prompt, we all had a great time!
Nice wine and bread. Nice service. Good pasta but my date said his could've had more flavor. Mine was saved by having bacon in it.
Pastor flavor is very good
8 of us dined here and the level of service for a group was outstanding. Everyone had a different pasta dish and they were all very tasty. Had an enjoyable experience
They are so kind here & treat you like family. We come back every time we’re in Bellevue. The food is always good & the atmosphere relaxing. Just a lovely place to enjoy a great meal. 💞
Poor service , none refill my water till the end. Ok food, doesn’t worth the price. Won’t come again.
My 3 girlfriends and I went for Restaurant Week. The food, service and ambiance were wonderful!
Great food and service. This was my first time there. Best, Letitia
The food here is amazing. It's a small place and tables are close but the service is good and they accommodated our late arriving guests.
Great find. The food was excellent. The server was very attentive and the ambience was very nice.
We were seated right on time with a smile. Service could not have been any better! We were served bread right away and asked if we wanted drinks. I wanted the scampi from the appetizers with linguini for my main course and they accommodated me and it was delicious. The portions are generous! The place was packed. I only wish we had room for dessert. Guess we will have to go back soon!
Love Andiamo ! Best eggplant parmesan ever. Tuesday half price wines 🍷
