Great food and location. Waiter was fantastic and food was delicious!
Don't do reviews, and don't appreciate requirements.
Delicious!!!
My husband and I had Thanksgiving dinner, and it was delicious and enjoyable. Since we almost never eat turkey at home, we both decided to order the Thanksgiving special turkey dinner and were glad we did. We will definitely return for other dining experiences.
We chose Andaluca to share a meal.with a dear friend we see infrequently. Couldn't have made a better choice. Quiet so we could visit, perfectly attentive service that never intruded, and we enjoyed our several leisurely courses unhurried.
It’s been a long time since we’ve been to Andaluca. That will change.
We had a wonderful meal at Andaluca! The food was excellent (and they had a full gluten-free menu!) and the service was excellent as well. We will return.
Friendly and knowledgable staff. Food was top notch. The free wine tasting they have every Wednesday was also enjoyable. We had a nice quiet booth in the corner and Bruce, our waiter, was very helpful.
The food at Andaluca is very good and the environment is elegant. It is quiet enough to talk. If it was more budget-friendly we would be there more frequently.
That was the most amazing duck EVER. The house pickles were well seasoned and something new and fun to try. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Seattle.
We wanted to dine there for a long time. We finally made it last Saturday and it was all we were told it was going to be. Even better...my husband the picky eater LOVED IT! They will see us again soon.
The food at Andaluca was wonderful as always.
Unfortunately our server was not. Waited a half hour just to get a menu.
And once we had our menu we had to call our server back just to order appetizers and drinks.
It almost felt like he was purposely ignoring our party.
Now I have to admit at other trips to the restaurant the service had been right in line with the food and has enhanced the dining experience.
Saturday night though, was not one of those times.
Wonderful! Had dinner during Seattle restaurant week. Can’t wait to go back.
The best meal we've had out in all of 2019. We are so sorry it has taken us so long to visit Andaluca's again. However that will not happen again.
The food was good and so was the service but neither was worth the price.
Delicious food and cocktails. We did get our food before our drinks, this was only thing that was negative. Otherwise it was a great evening!
Dinner at Andaluca was a real treat, and certainly our favorite, by far, of our Restaurant Week experiences. We are already planning to come back during our downtown holiday shopping in December, and Andaluca will be top of the list when we take out-of-town relatives to dinner.
Thank you to Bruce for making our first experience here so lovely! He was friendly, great to chat with, and made great dinner recommendations! The food tasted great. Thank you for having us!
When booking the reservation, I mentioned that my husband and I were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary. Shortly after we were seated, our server brought us two complimentary glasses of champagne! The service was fantastic. Everyone was so nice. We had the scallops for an appetizer, my husband had the paella, and I had the halibut. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back!
This place was so amazing! highly recommend for romantic dates or close friends.
Service was competent but uninspired. Two of the members of my party ordered the paella. Unfortunately, it was bland and the rice was undercooked. I ordered the duck breast and found it to be quite good, well prepared and nicely presented.
Friendly service and delicious food for Seattle Restaurant Week
Food was really delicious: we had the Seattle restaurant week menu, which was not only yummy, but also included full-sized portions (something you don't always get with a special "value" menu). We also ordered a couple of extra items off the regular menu, just to try them. We were pleasantly surprised that we were there for their weekly (Wed, 4:30pm) complimentary (and yet very generously poured) wine tasting. Mauritzio (bartender) was friendly and informative re: the wines, and it was just an extra bonus at an already really great meal event. Nice selection on the wine list, too.
Dishes we recommend: the scallop appetizer, pear salad, halibut, pork tenderloin, liquid chocolate cake
These are really just nits, but here they are:
Feel free to skip: the bread service (baba ganoush and hummus were good, but the bread was nothing special) and the mashed potato side (pretty plain and a bit pricey for what it is)
The decor was a bit dated but cozy and comfortable, and the place was not too noisy, even as it filled up. Service was professional and helpful when offered, but was understaffed during their busy restaurant week rush, so things really slowed down as more and more people arrived.
We will definitely make the trek (from Bremerton) into Seattle again for Andaluca and will take friends/family here.
Great food, great ambiance great value during restaurant week!
This is such a jewell! I wish I was one of the regulars who are so warmly welcomed. Everything is just right here.
food was "ok". The paella had a few pieces of char on the shrimp which gave it an occasionally burnt flavor. Bread was bland, and baba ganoush was not great. The Halibut was overcooked as well.
Everything was delightful and delicious. The liquid chocolate cake was the best dessert my husband and I have ever had.
High quality food, cooked to perfection! The grilled scallops were perfectly cooked, as was the seafood in am the paella. The pork chop with cherry moutarda was sublime, perfect for a fall dinner before the theatre!
We visited Andaluca during our stay at the beautiful Magnolia Park Hotel. We enjoyed breakfast there everyday, and celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Andaluca on our last night in Seattle. The food and service were outstanding each time. ALL the servers were professional, polite and accommodating in every way.
Although the menu isn't extensive, the choices are well thought-out and expertly executed. Their croissants at breakfast are the best we've had outside of France (and that's saying a lot!), served with extra butter and delicious artisan jam. Heaven on a plate! Coffee is good and strong, eggs were perfectly cooked, and the special scramble on our first morning was absolutely yummy! Beautifully ripe fresh fruit is always a treat at breakfast. The seasonal pear salad at dinner was light and lovely, and the paella was excellent, topped the biggest, juiciest mussels we've ever seen. It could easily serve two, depending on your appetite.
And the lemon pana cotta dessert - oh my! It was so light and lemony and the plum sauce was the perfect balance. An outstanding meal and a wonderful way to end our stay. Thank you!
This is a lovely restaurant with good food and service however their policy of no cell phones is draconian. I was at the restaurant at 6 o’clock in the evening there were no other tables occupied that I could see and yet I was asked to get off the phone when I was speaking quietly with my husband. I won’t go back
Great flavors and vegetable-meat combinations. Pork was excellent but could have been hotter when served
Great meal. The Paella was fantastic. Great wine list. The soup special was wonderful as were the carrots we ordered.
Incredible atmosphere, service and food. First class! Loved it!
One of the few restaurants we have been to recently where the noise level was lov enough for us to be able to have an easy conversation. Service (Bruce) was fantastic and the food was quite good.
Celebrated my birthday with my sisters. We loved the food in Madrid and was pleased with the paella and pork chops.
We had not been to Andaluca in probably 20 years since we had moved away. Now that we are closer again we know we will be coming back more often. Food and service were SUPERB!!!
Service was the best I have ever had in Seattle! Ambiance was perfect, no loud music so you could actually talk and food was great. Handled our allergies wonderfully and was actually able to eat tasty food!
Great server; pleasant atmosphere; interesting and tasty food options
Nice ambience, well trained staff that was responsive. Pork Chop was generous in size and delicious.
Incredibly delicious food (and very reasonably priced given its quality), marvelously pleasant and charming staff, very good drinks. The washroom situation is a little peculiar and requires a bit of a walk, but it wasn't a big deal at all. We had a lovely time!
