Anarbagh Indian Restaurant
Worth a visit for Indian foodies
After returning from India we made it our mission to find the best Indian restaurant in LA. Without doubt, this is it. We'll keep coming back for their butter chicken and cheese naan bread. And the service is always a joy.
This was an awkwardly quiet restaurant for a 6-person group. Might make more sense for two people. The waiter also kept trying to upsell us - I can't tell you how many times I said "regular water is fine" and he kept trying to bring still bottles for us to buy.
The food is excellent. We are repeat customers and the food always tastes the same, regardless of location. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel very much at home.
Awesome food. Husain was a great host and all the food was uniquely flavored and extremely flavorful. Great place and will revisit again.
This restaurant is our favorite go to place for good Indian food! The service is excellent, the food is to die for and it truly is a fabulous place for a quiet dinner with friends!
Food was okay the spice the aroma I was expecting was disappointing.
Decent food, especially the palak paneer and Chana masala. The service was excellent. The fish korma though was sugary and not authentic North Indian in taste, clearly suggesting that the chef is not form North India (ie Punjab, Haryana or UP area.)
Best Indian restaurant in Beverly Hills. The food is really delicious. Very friendly staff.
Great service with Very friendly staff.
Delicious food, excellent service, highly recommend...
Great food! Love this place
Authentic Indian food! Amazing, friendly staff! I would rescind to anyone. They ask you how spicy you want it as well. Very accommodating go vegans too!!
It was my first visit and I thought everything was terrific. Genuinely warm atmosphere in the service staff was warm and friendly
Food was delicious, but very mild on the spice level. We are English and Australian so used to hot Indian food which we told the waiter to order but everything came out really mild, even the vindaloo which by definition is supposed to be extremely hot. It was sadly not.
the place is looking great and is in a great neighborhood. Perhaps a little more attentive service with more help for the clients to read the menu, maybe suggest the dish of the day, maybe suggest combinations etc would help to make the overall experience more compelling. Overall the food is great, it tastes great, the place is clean and they do a good job. We'll go back for sure !
Our first time there, and we were delighted with the experience. The ambience, service and, most important of all, the food. Wonderful tastes; fine value. Definitely now on my Go To list of restaurants one can look forward to dining at any time and many times.
Excellent food service!
Very enjoyable dining experience. Great food and service.
Fantastic experience at Anarbagh after only getting their food delivered. Much tastier dining in, and service was almost perfect. Best briyani in town as my mom put it. Chicken Vindaloo was a hit and the garlic naan was so good.
Great food, excellent service.
One of the best Indian restaurants in the USA! Outstanding Chicken Madras! Can’t wait to go back!
We absolutely love the food and the service is great! they should have some music playing as the ambiance lacks a little background music.
Great, love traditional Indian food! Great time and great service!
Surprising good but not amazing. I just don’t know where to get amazing Indian food from.
Great time! Fantastic food! Loved the sampler appetizer. Loved the picked carrots & jalepenos! I would have paid $25 for the lamb shank special! The vegetable biryani was good too.
Mushroom Bhaje 4

I love that there is a discount if you check into yelp.
Excellent excellent excellent. It was an incredible evening. We had a dinner party for 20 people. The staff was outstanding. The food amazing. We just love the restaurant
Both the food and service here are excellent. It's also very affordable for a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Would highly recommend!
Outstanding food and service.
Food is good and it is a good value for the money we paid.
The food was AMAZING and the service was excellent as well! Totally recommended!
The food here tastes fantastic, but we both had belly aches and bad gas after. Not sure if can recommend.
Terrific family meal full of exotic flavors spiced perfectly for each persons preferance.
The lamb was tender the chicken tikka was delectable and our vegan friends were very happy with all the choices available for them.
The Massla tea was a lovely ending!
Excellent food, good service, definitely will go back a second time
Great food but terrible music played gave me a sore head
We had to wait an hour for our food. The waiter came to us after a half hour or so to tell us that something had gone wrong with their computer & he had to take our order again. I don't know if this is the real story or not.
My son and I went here for his birthday. We eat frequently at Indian restaurants and have been to India so we have a reasonable background in the cuisine. The restaurant is in a nice area of Beverly Hills with some good night life. No valet parking at the restaurant but there is a public garage nearby that is easy and cheap ($5 for the evening). The restaurant has an extensive menu of the traditional Indian dishes you would find in US restaurants, so no particular regional specialization; there are a few unique dishes but for the most part the items on the menu are common offerings so its easy to find favorites that you might have either meat or vegetarian. Everything we ordered was excellent and the food came promptly. I thought the service was unusually friendly, so we felt at home right away. Decor is attractive but not opulent. We'd highly recommend the restaurant to anyone and plan to go back.
Worst tasting indian food I have ever had! Period! And I’m proud to be indian!
What a bummer! We went for Indian food with so much hopes and here we were presented incredibly bad food. I doubt the cooks are Indian even.
-paneer pakora had texture like chicken nuggets. Paneer itself was awesome but the they could not figure how to make a pakora
-naan was burnt, i will upload picture
-presentation was incredibly poor, seemed old food heated up
-daal had kidney beans that were hard and undercooked
-naan were huge but really terrible looking and did not taste delicious
-chicken itself was tender but gravy was thick and not fresh
-seeks Kabab was dry
-service was good but what’s the point of food is terrible
It is shame to have such terrible food in middle of upscale street. Either we went on bad day when cooks had taken off or this place is not authentic Indian restaurant.
