Always feel welcome, very comfortable atmosphere. Outstanding service from beginning to end❤️
Italian food was not good.
Meatballs were terrible.
No salad with entree.
Breads not fresh and not even Italian.
Way overpriced for the quality of food.
I think Wegmans needs to stay in the grocery
business and get out of the restaurant one.
Awesome food, great setting and wonderful service.
Always excellent in every way! We love the fresh ingredients and tasty preparations.
What a wonderful experience! Connor was an absolute rockstar and managed to make us PERFECT Vesper! Complete with and old school lemon twist beautifully perched on the rim of the glass! Justin was exceptional and gave great service. The food was outstanding, hot and perfectly seasoned. Chef seems to have not lost his touch as everything from the pasta to the pizza was expertly executed. The pizza dough was classic, and wonderful. I cannot sing my praises enough, wonderful job team!
Our appetizers and entrees were quite good and served quickly. Empty dishes were also removed promptly and water glasses filled regularly. My only disappointment was that I did not get to try the Italian Old Fashioned that I ordered as it was never delivered.
wonderful evening, great food, great service. All around excellence
Our experience was wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff was very friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend a visit here.
Amore is a welcoming, warm restaurant with charming staff and delicious food! Chef Pasquale has created a wonderful menu and it is a pleasure to watch him work in the kitchen. Thank you!
My wife and I dine out frequently and have become convinced that the Amore offers some of the best Italian food in Rochester, and at a reasonable price. The head chef, Pasquale, is directly from Italy, and his passion for quality and consistency is obvious each time we dine here.
Whether it’s the lobster risotto or the Zappa de pesce, or the pizza, I know I am getting a great plate that has been cooked to perfection.
Great Food! Great People!
Grwat meal which everyone loved, and the service was fantastic. Slight downside was the overly energetic party of six next to us that continually spoke louder each bite.
As a frequent customer at Amore, this is the first time I have ever been disappointed in the food. The eggplant parm was way overbaked, so hard it was impossible to cut part of it with a fork. One other customer with me had the eggplant too and hers was ok.
Wegmans ‘knows food’ but this was a whole new level. Food was as good as any upper tier restaurant, loved the layout of the restaurant and the service was great! You won’t be disappointed
I had the gnocchi -- best in Rochester. Half price wine on Thursday. Excellent service. Pass on the deserts.
Always an excellent dining experience. Great food and excellent unobtrusive service.
I absolutely LOVE Amore! Great staff, Amazing food and atmosphere. Sauteed Calamari and Arugula Salad with Shrimp are incredible.
The food was very good, excellent service, the restaurant was a tad dark to read the menu, fortunately, I had a penlight with me (I'm old and my eyebones ain't what they used to was) Other than that food was wonderful from bread & olive oil to the desert.
The food was delicious, service excellent and the value was superb.
Lunch was perfect; our daughter gave us a gift card for our anniversary and I mentioned that to our waitress and she brought us a complementary dessert when we finished our meal. We went back today to use the rest of our gift card and then I went to Wegmans and purchased one for my daughter. Will give it
to her for Christmas.
When booking the table it was asked if it was a special occasion i said yes it was our 44 anniversary I’m not sure why because nothing was mentioned to us while at the restaurant. The service was excellent ,food was very good my wife had the clams and I had the sampler and we both had a glass of wine with the dinner, $$ is fair for the menu prices but would definitely go again.
Steven's service was attentive and professional. He was polite and helpful and gave great suggestions when we were having a tough time deciding what to get. It's a real team effort there and everyone who came by the table made our experience seem both special and yet right at home. The housemade pasta is amazing! Just like Grandma used to make. The wine list complements the menu perfectly and we were very pleased to find one of our favorites from the Antinori family on the list. Even though we decided to splurge with 4 courses we will be back again to try one of the daily specials and the mouthwatering pizzas. Truly something for everyone here!
We eat lunch here every other week if not more often. Great meal, great value, and quick and friendly service!
We love the pizza and fresh pasta! Everyone is so friendly
Food was excellent and well presented. As long as the meal was of good quality and carefully/expertly prepared (complements to the Italian chief and crew) price is no issue.
Five star food
Half price wine
What’s not to like me?
I dined at Amore on a Wednesday night and had the special, casarecce pasta with pancetta and a blush sauce, which was delicious. My server, Hillary, and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Perfect for a family, appeals to all taste levels. Win-win for parents and kids.
I absolutely loved yet another experience at Amore! I had outstanding service and enjoyed the friendly servers, all who were very welcoming and warm, and enjoyed the food. Their Scallop & Risotto special was out of this world and I always love their assortment of gelatos and sorbets. 11/10 Recommend.
Should have looked at the menu first. Most items contained pork or prosciutto. Almost no options without. Ended up ordering a plain pizza which was ok, not what I wanted and nothing special. My husband and I both felt that there was nothing compelling us to return. The food was ok, not terrible but there are a lot of other Italian restaurants that are much better. We’ve been wanting to try Amore for a long time.
Service was very wonderful, attentive, pleasant yet relaxing. Perfect. Meal was all delicious. .... oysters, calamari, gnocchi & Bloody Mary. A very pleasant, good experience.
Went to dinner before a show at the Auditorium. Had the tasting menu and wine parings. Food was great and wines paired very well! Our server knew we were Oman time crunch and helped get us served quickly, without seeming too rushed. Will definitely go back again!
Healthy food, nicely presented, fresh ingredients, comfy atmosphere. I like seeing a variety of ages dining here.
Incredible food, service, décor and value! Best Italian restaurant in the city!
Enjoyed sitting in the "pergola" room.
Raphael was very attentive, without being overly solicitous. Thanks.
It was our first time there but won’t be our last. The food was amazing and the service was great. There’s nothing better than homemade pasta, with an excellent bottle of wine to go with it. Can’t wait to go back!
Our reservations were for 6:00 but our granddaughter's recital got out early at 4:30. I called to see if we could get in Amore early and they were very accommodating. Good food, service, and not noisy!😀💜
Delicious food and great service! The beet goat cheese salad was amazing and the fresh pasta was delicious. Stopped for dinner before going to the theater and was not disappointed
Outstanding food preparation. While main dining area is sometimes overwhelming in noise level the side dining area was perfect.
Amore is a fun place to go. After all, it is attached to a grocery store. Entrees have a special flair with tastes not found in other restaurants. Prices are on the high side as you would expect from Wegmans.
The seating is VERY cramped. Waiters and waitresses often pass by you sideways to get through. Also, the lighting is very poor. Very poor. Poor to the point that 3 couples near us had to use the flashlight on their phones just to read the menu. My wife was at that point as well but I pleaded with her not to.
I would recommend it because it is a one-off experience, but not if you are claustrophobic. Also, with portion sizes running counter to prices, folks needn't come too hungry.
