Delicious food, impeccably served in a relaxed atmosphere.
The whole experience, start to finish, was excellent.
The food that we chose was outstanding: taste, flavours, combinations and design
It would be impossible to provide better service!
We were very impressed and a big thank you to the Restaurant for making this such an enjoyable lunch.
After all these years, still the best restaurant in London. We return to Alain Ducasse every time
we return to London, and it never disappoints.
Excellent food and staff.. couldn’t say more
Wonderful time. 3 Michelin stars is fully deserving. After having the Tasting menu here, fine dining is on a whole new level personally.
This is my first 3-star experience in London although I’ve been to numerous 3-stars in Paris and New York every time I’m there. I’d have to say in comparison to the ones I’ve been to, Alain Ducasse does get all the basic elements right. There is nothing to “wrong” with how each plate is cooked and presented. However, now with so many places offering such innovative combinations of ingredients and flavor, the dishes here were just not mind-blowing. In fact, it was almost too basic and started to feel really dull. You can feel the lack of effort of the chef and the team. It’s understandable when you have the reputation and have guests constantly book and come in but honestly, I think they should re-think about keeping up because 3 stars seem quite exaggerated. Service was what you’d expect and the waiters were attentive “enough” but there should have been much more detailed descriptions on each dish. I had to repeatedly ask about what was in the sauce and what I was tasting. The awkward fake politeness was what I definitely paid for. It would be incredibly sad to see them drop to a 2 star but they need to literally restructure everything if they have intentions of staying on board.
Definitely a dinner to remember, the food was amazing, the service superb.
Un tres bon resto rien a redire il vaut ses 3 etoiles completement
I felt the service staff was lacking in experience and coordination. They were very rushed. I opted for the wine discovery too and they were like pouring the wines like no tomorrow bot matching the flow of the customer. I am not referring to amount of alcohol in each glass but I was on my third wine pairing when I was still on my 1st course. After mentioning this to the manager they then slowed down but the experience was less than stellar.
The service provided by the staff was fantastic. Morgane and Javier were brilliant.
The food was very good but I expected it to be mind blowing which it wasn’t.
We still throughly enjoyed the evening and had the pleasure to go into the kitchen and meet the Executive Chef.
Outstanding service and food, really nice ambiance
Beautiful food and impeccable service! Evening was an unforgettable experience!
Excellent and friendly service, food was more than perfect! Expensive but worth the money.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
First trip to London. This is a world class dining experience. Everything is coordinated. We got a quick tour of the kitchen and meeting with the head chef as well as signed menus of the individual menu choices we each enjoyed. Nice touch!
The service was the best that we had experienced this year. Extremely friendly staff offering efficient service. A very comfortable dining environment.
Food quality was excellent, up to the Michelin stars they earned.
The lunch menu was of good value.
The service was very good. Polite and quick, friendly. Some food were good. Some dishes were just ordinary. The main dish of fish we ordered was over cooked. We spent around £290 for 2 people 3 courses with not all excellent food . So not very good value.
The food and the services are amazing! Love it
Today is my sister's birthday，The cake was not prepared in advance 。It shouldn't be a Michelin restaurant service. But the food was higher than expected
We went to Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester for our 2 year wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! We had high expectations for the 3 Michelin star meal and it delivered above and beyond. We had the 2 different tasting menus and they catered for my dietary requirements. Every dish was outstanding and we were so full we couldn’t even finish our desserts (which never happens!) The service was professional yet friendly so even though there was a strict dress code of smart elegant it didn’t feel stuffy and we were very well looked after. The small touches added to the experience and everyone gets a small bag of home made treats to take home to enjoy later. We could not wait to recommend to everyone!
Every food is an art .. The chef should have spent lots of effort to make it happens ...
Fantastic meal and service as always.
We had a great experience - excellent food and courteous staff.
Fantastic food, wine and service.
nothing terrible but nothing memorable
Absolutely lovely evening
The best value and the most outstanding Michelin starred restaurant in London
Food was superb. Service was excellent
It wall all great
Food good, service good but nowhere near 3 star
Lots of staff but no one gave much attention until after the bill was settled.
Vastly different from its few competitors at this level
Celebrated our anniversary there and it was lovely. We went with the full tasting menu during lunch time. Staff were attentive and made us feel very comfortable. Food was outstanding and we especially loved the attention to detail at this restaurant. Thank you for this memorable experience and we are looking forward to coming back!
They wouldn’t let us in because I was wearing ‘sports shoes’, while they were going through this process a guy left the restaurant wearing trainers, when I raised this, he lied and said that the man was wearing ‘velvet shoes’?!?
Having made this decision they then failed to cancel the reservation despite repeated requests making it impossible to add a new booking on OpenTable at an alternative restaurant.
Alain Ducasse cancelled my confirmed reservation because i didn't return their call. When is a reservation a reservation, never at Ducasse, we arrived in London at 11:30 rushed to drop off our things at hotel didn't even remove clothing from luggage. raced across town, arrived sweating but on time at 1:30 for lunch. we were told they tried to reach us by phone(home, we weren't there obviously). They never sent email and made no attempt to accommodate us, didn't even offer to seat us at one of the other 3 restaurants they had at the hotel. Sorry Ducasse you blew your chance, your service sucks. get off opentable if you don't accept their confirmed reservations
Wonderful restaurant - still retained its charming ambience.
Not up to the three Michelin it claims. Service and food wise.
Environment and ambience beautiful. Service was attentive and good but at times slow. Wine list was very good. Food was good but not fantastic. Not a single dish wows. Disappointing considering it’s reputation. Not deserving of 3 stars. There are many other 1 and 2 stars restaurant which are better.
What an amazing food experience!!! Everything was great, fantastic location, the food was just out of the world and the service was even better !!! We will be back very soon and we highly recommended this place to everybody !!
Superb food, friendly, efficient service, tragic choice of music.
Had better food for much less
