Each chef brings a new insight to the table: the comfort food favorites of New England; the fire and spice of Mexico; the Caribbean traditions of Jamaica; and the ageless classics of Long Island. Our own local abundance of fresh produce and seafood allows us to take the collective kitchen dining concept quite literally. Everything is made from scratch. Every taste evokes an emotional connection to a past culinary memory, or perhaps a future craving.

You know you are at a wonderful restaurant when they can cook a thick filet to the temperature you request!! Server Lauren was great. Our mozzarella and tomato salad was outstanding and beautiful! On top were white balsamic vinegar pearls that were a true burst of flavor!! Amazing. There for a special birthday and it will be a dinner to remember!
Superb service from Jennifer for a late lunch by the windows overlooking the beautiful ocean. Cobb and Caesar salads were fresh and ample in size.
Great for families and a relaxin g meal
We went for a Valentines dinner. As soon as we got seated in the hotel lobby as opposed to the restaurant we were a little perplexed. It felt like we were seated at a wedding with the flimsy furniture to match. We then proceeded to wait 30 min. Plus for drinks. As soon as our drinks arrived a full Bloody Mary was spilled all over the table. No big deal though, that was just an accident. We ordered and then waited another 30 min and no sign of appetizer or soup. We witnessed multiple tables complain of cold food. At that point we made the decision to leave and find another place even at the risk of not eating or having room service. Major disappointment for having made this reservation a month prior to our valentine weekend getaway. If they were unable to handle the reservations because of an event I wish they would have canceled so finding another reservation for such a busy night would have been possible.
Our seating was at tables set up in the lobby of the hotel. Our view was of people carrying their luggage through the lobby and going back and forth to the pool. It took 15 minutes for the server to take our drink order and another 30min before our drinks arrived. We were there 1 hour before the soup arrived which was actually good. They brought the wrong appetizer the first time which I should have kept because the correct one was really bad. We didn’t eat it. One hour and 30 min after being seated our food arrived. The halibut was over spiced and over cooked. It looked and tasted like they had reheated it. We asked for boxes for the dessert and left. $250 for two people and most of the meal and all of the experience was bad.
Very nice. Food is great, both in presentation and taste. The service is outstanding and attentive. Definitely would go back and would recommend to others. Had the shrimp cocktail, the grouper, branzino and mango Pana cotta. The chef gave my baby their delicious mac and cheese and she loved it. Everything was really nice

Accueil horrible après avoir réservé le restaurant pour 21h30 , les serveuses sont sur une table au coin du Ocean grill en train de compter leur caisse sans s occuper de nous ainsi que la responsable ..
Une serveuse arrive enfin pour nous annoncer alors que le 3800 Ocean ( la salle ) est fermé et nous propose alors de dîner dans la salle du grill avec une émission politique à la tv que les serveuses regardent à fonds les manettes !!
Je suis sidéré dans un hôtel de ce niveau il faut vraiment faire le ménage du niveau des responsable de restauration , en 10 ans que je suis aux États Unis je n ai jamais vécu une scène comme celle là .

Même sommes partis écœures de ce cinéma alors que le restaurant a accepté notre réservation et qu’il est écrit sur les horaires d ouvertures que cela est ouvert jusqu’à 23h.
Je ne reviendrai jamais ici , à déconseiller donc si vous vous arrêtez pour un soir et comptez dîner en famille mer après avoir réservé .
Je suis un client très régulier de la chaîne marriott et ce partout dans le monde celui ci est à revoir et en profondeur au niveau de l encadrement !!

We went to 3800 Ocean for the New Year's Eve dinner, which included a prix fixe dinner and live entertainment. The food was delicious, the two-man band played a great selection of R&B music but the noise level was very annoying. I know it's a holiday with lots of diners, including children, but the restaurant seems designed to amplify rather than subdue the noise.
Entertainment was nice. Busy time of year. I wish restaurant had a more extensive menu. I have been staying here many years.

Christmas Eve dinner. Very good food & service from Deborah who was well versed in the menu choices & beverages including the wine. The bar area was very noisy which spilled into the dining area which was a bit annoying.
Very efficient valet parking. We would go back especially later in the year when we could see the ocean during the evening hours.
Food just ok
Wonderful meal but a bit pricey for a vegan like me and our vegetarian guest. Would have been nice to see a separate price for those of us who wanted a limited buffet.
Not sure how it would be under normal circumstances. We ate here for Thanksgiving, which was a mediocre buffet at a premium price. The food was typical average buffet food (that I would expect to pay about half of what we paid), the layout was unorganized, and the glass overlooking the ocean was so dirty you couldnt tell you were looking at the beach. Wouldn't recommend a holiday dinner here.
Had the Thanksgiving Buffett... very mediocre food, some of the “hot” food was cold and my husband had the raw oysters and 40 minutes later could not leave the bathroom. Took him 2 days to recover, so stay away from the uncooked food !!!!

Amazing food. Every item we ordered was unique and simply perfect. Not a bad meal since we began eating here. It’s like a hidden gem that not many people know about but should.
We were first guests for an evening meal. We were seated by the window but in the corner although there were 3 other tables with no reservation sign. Waited 5 minutes before a waiter came and literately dropped off menus. Waited 10 minutes before returned to take wine order. ($100). He brought & opened bottle then gone. Another couple came who must be staying at hotel. They ordered drinks immediately and then we, and them, were brought bread by support man. Finally he became for our order. We ordered Starters, Steak tips with Foie gras ($18) and Corn/lobster chowder ($12) and Salmon ($25) and Monk in the Trunk ($40) as entrees. By then all four tables were filled. After another 15 minutes the 2nd couple got their starters and the restaurant greeter saw me looking and asked if she could help. I said we were the first to arrive and others we’re already being served. She went to check and came back with our entrees. I said we hadn’t had our starters but, as we were hungry, we’d start. The waiter came running over with one starter and I said to forget it. The Chowder would have been prepared and cooking steak tips would be quick but we’re never delivered and our entrees were already done too. They took off the starters but for a dinner costing $196 for two people it was disaster. The salmon was not cooked through so half was left and the Monk was as bad as the service. The couple at the next table were also not impressed with the service and said they too wouldn’t be returning. Worst meal of our week in Palm Beach area. Save money and get better food and service at other restaurants.
Very nice. We enjoyed our breakfast very much. Food was well prepared and service was spectacular. Presentation was also top drawer -- extra touches that make a person feel special. Very nice. Valet parking was complimentary with validation. Prices were a bit high -- I guess that's to be expected at a resort hotel. Bloody Mary was $14. Omelette $14 Sandwich $18. It was all quite good though.
Entries are expensive. Getting an app would be plenty of enough food if you weren't famished.
Fish special like rubber. Uneventful but waiter was wonderful. Could here chefs yelling which was annoying . Wasn’t busy . Needs linen on tables & windows cleaned

Are here a year ago same time but not as impressive this time
Seems like they were under staffed and under stocked for transitional period with “snow birds” arriving in a few weeks. Out of wines listed on menu, salad did not have pecans in it as described in menu, no salt/pepper on table.
Honestly we expected great things after reading the great reviews. Our dinner was good, service was just ok. View was beautiful. The best part was the bread basket. Although it was not what we hoped for, we will give them another chance for sure. We did enjoy the breakfast the next morning with a very attentive and friendly waiter.

The view out the restaurant window is gorgeous at sunset. You sit looking out at the ocean with the waves lapping the sand. However, because it is a large open room, the sound is very loud for an intimate dinner . The service was very good and our waitress was knowledgable and very pleasant. The food is ok. Its a very unique menu, but we felt that several things just didn't go together. One of our entrees was a scallop dish. But they served chunks of pork belly with scallops?? The two just don;t mix and the pork belly was tough. you only got 3 large scallops and the meal was $36. Over priced for what we received. the lobster corn chowder was not good. It didn't have a creamy buttery flavor and it was too watery. The flavor was off. We sent it back. Our second entree was a grouper topped with crab meat that was also just ok. Needed a bit more flavor. There was a lot of crabmeat on it but felt it needed something like more butter?? It was a $40 entree and again over priced for what you get. The salad was very good (the green salad) and the dessert good (chocolate creme brulee). Overall it is just ok. Nothing great beyond the view.
Terrible atmosphere. Weird, huge, open area middle of restaurant. Loud echoes. No steak on menu. Waiter screwed up the one drink order we had.
Over $100 for one drink and 2 appetizers. Had dinner here because we were staying at the hotel. Next time we will Uber somewhere.
Great experience right on the ocean. Grouper and Swordfish were delicious. Wedge salad huge, enough for 2 or 3!
