Très bon dîner avec très bon vin. Le cadre est superbe (surtout avec la décoration de Noël sublime)
Reliable bistro food. Always very lively, busy, bustling ambiance. Prices are steep but not out of line for the quartier.
-Loved the food, it’s really delicious.
- so classy
- excellent staff, very welcoming and professional.
I really enjoyed it and for sure going to come back again!
Overall the food was OK. But service was exceptionally slow. So you need to be comfortable in this will be a two hour meal
Best steak in london
I have been many times with my husband for lunch but this was my first time to go for dinner. Everything was flawless. We really enjoyed the crispy duck salads, the creamed corn and deserts. Most of all we felt looked after by the entire team from arrival to departure. I cannot wait to go back!
We were excited to experience the menu at this restaurant
Unfortunately they were “out” of 3 types of the steaks they are known for and 2 of 7 appetizers. We were entertaining guests and all of us had to settle for disappointing menu choices
Delicious food, great atmosphere, fantastic service - really lovely brunch. The only downfall is it's quite pricey but for a treat it's absolutely worth it.
34 Mayfair manages to get exactly the right balance between a relaxed and friendly environment and excellent service.
Muy buen ambiente y excelente presentación de la comoda
The service was a bit slow considering the amount of waiters working there. They tried to speed up the food once we made them aware.
The food was delicious and seeing the chefs from our table was interesting.
Overall very good service and food. Not the "best" but really good and definitely worth returning to. Very suitable for work dinners and clients.
Our go to option which never fails to deliver on all aspects of a dining experience, however our last visit was not up to the usual high standard that we have come to expect and love from 34. The food was still good, there was just something missing and we left a little disappointed. We were celebrating mother-in-law's birthday so wanted a nice meal.
We opted to go straight into mains so wanted to save room for dessert and had picked to have a roast which is always filling. We were informed that it would be at least a 30 minute wait for the roast. Upon checking with the kitchen, it transpired it would be more like 40 minutes so we had to have a starter, which was lovely. Our mains arrived and disappointingly there was no cauliflower cheese, they instead replaced it with tenderstem - we had already ordered a separate portion of tenderstem so ended up not eating one of them, a bit wasteful and not very "on it" from a customer service perspective. Especially as the two tenderstem dishes looked decidedly different but were supposedly the same.... The beef was tasty but quite fatty and two rather thin pieces, almost glad we had shared a starter.
Anyway, nothing was disastrous, it just wasn't the enjoyable and delicious meal that we had expected. I would still recommend as 34 is great, hopefully it was just a little blip.....
Loved it! The whole experience was so satisfying.
Took my boss who was visiting from California and a group of colleagues for dinner. Warm friendly and attentive service. Good atmosphere, busy but not too loud so we could have a good conversation. Food was very good as was the wine. We all had a great evening which is what we hoped for. Very good. Hope to return soon.
Great staff great food highly recommended
Staff pay attention and door service cant say a bad word
It’s very nice place, good food, very good service and ambiance.
Everything was very nice and this was the reason to come again within less than a month.
It is a very reasonable location for a good dinner with friends. Food is well cooked, nice drinks and interesting cocktails. Maybe the list of wines is a bit to expensive. However the place is quit busy and loud, nothing for a romantic dinner of two, but absolutly okay for meeting friends. - A minor minus might be that the service is much too fast, they managed a full 3-course menu, with a pre-coctail and an after-desert-coffe in less than an hour. -This is good if you're in a hurry, but a bit too energetic for fine dining.
Too bad they don't have the piano player anymore. It raised the sophistication to a cut above .The music is annoying ,the noise level deafening. At least there was some refinement back then. At least they haven't cancelled Sally and Greg at Le Caprice
We haven’t dined here for a few months, it was a pleasure to be back
A few noticeable differences - gone with table cloths in with marble tops and to be fair it works very well
Food on form as always and service to mach
I would well recommend the 34 and for those who haven’t been for a while it’s time to return your in for a foodie treat!
Great experience, they went above and beyond in helping us to celebrate my sister’s 34th birthday. The complimentary cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had! Special thanks to our waiter Tommy who was an amazing host!
My wife and I both agreed that was the best steak we had ever eaten. We had a wonderful meal, thank you so much
The lobster mac and cheese is very special!
I love the place and all Caprice holdings
Love the food at 34 and the staff is absolutely superb. Always makes for a terrific experience!
Very pleasant and good food
Plastic flowers everywhere outside, despite the fact that it was early September with brimming flower boxes all over London. Very slow and uneven service. Mediocre and over salted food. When a dish tastes very strongly of cumin, such as my lamb, it should be included in the menu description, which it was not, and it was not described as an Indian dish. (I hate cumin.)
We came here for our last night in London for their updated British menu which is set in an Art Deco building. All the classics are modern interpretations from drinks to dessert and our waiter was quite delightful. Recommended.
On the whole very pleasant.
Amazing place and great service....
We were initially not taken with this restaurant because of the noise level. It is not a place for quiet conversation.
However, the food and service were as fine as could be desired. the service was very much a team effort without the feeling of being smothered.
All the food was very good and well presented. I believe my Iberico pork chop may have been one of the finest pieces of meat, of any kind, that I have ever eaten.
We initially chose this spot because we couldn't get a reservation at its sister restaurant, Scotts seafood. We did eat lunch at Scotts on a later date and we much preferred Mayfair 34.
It was my first time but I think I made a good choice. The food very nice especially the Scottish RIb Eye and the bone marrow. My wife’s macaroni lobster and for sure I will return for spaghetti meatballs. Excellent everything
I will come twice for the lobster macaroni and cheese cake! Cocktails as well!
Overall ambiance is lovely. Enjoyable staff. Beautiful presentation
Always good food and ambiance.
Great value fixed lunch. Excellent service.
We've dined here several times and always find good service and food. The only issue - I noted the head chef was the only one in the open kitchen NOT wearing a hair net or cap.
