312 Chicago is centrally located the Loop Theater and Financial District. Every room offers iconic city views including City Hall, the Thompson Center, the Board of Trade and the Cadillac Palace Theater. The ambiance evokes the comfort and sophistication of a 1930’s supper club, but the style is pure, modern elegance with rich walnut wood and dramatic chandeliers.
Very nice place, quiet. Great service and food!
Great food spot....try to sit upstairs to improve your view and for more natural lighting.
Always a reliable place to get dinner in the Loop!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
From the host to the waiter, staff and definitely the food, 312 was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed every part!
As always, the food and service never disappoint. The menu is varied and the waitstaff gives great recommendations regarding the specials. Always an entertaining and wonderful experience.
Great food, great service, we were continually asked how things were. Will definitely put in my favorites list for when I am in Chicago.
Tres bien. Rapport qualité prix parfait
Very relaxed and no pressure.
Good food and service. Perfect for business meetings. Friendly staff.
The halibut was amazing! Such a circus of flavors to entertain my taste buds. And the fish was cooked perfectly.
For appetizers we had the buffala (how can that pesto be so much better than any I've had before?) and fritto misto - delicious with the limoncello aioli! Even the tapenade for the bread service was wonderful.
And for coffee snobs like me, they made one fine cappuccino.
Excellent service. Waiter was very knowledgable and attentive.
Always a pleasure...perfect for a preshow dinner.
Great dining experience and convenient to theatre district.
Downtown for theater and stayed at the Kimpton . Decide on 312 for dinner and the Veal carpaccio was delicious but the Fritto Misto a little disappointing. The arugula was overdressed with the aioli and this caused the crispy seafood beneath to become soggy. I would try the dish again but request the aioli to stay in the side.
Everything was pretty good, but the food was let what I expected. The Dish I ordered was different than how they previously made it and the portion was quite small for the price.
Excellent food and service
It was a great place for my business lunch. The service was excellent.
The Bistecca Salad was outstanding. Will be back for that. Server courteous, friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed one of the most delicious meals I've ever had in a hotel restaurant. Excellent food with lovely presentation!
Incredible meal with friendly top notch service.
I've enjoyed coming to this restaurant recently. The food has been reliably good. The service is good and it's not too noisy, even when full!
Excellent food attentive staff able to change dishes for dietary allergies
The scallops at dinner were outstanding. The minestrone also great. But the menu variety is a bit better than some recent years but has a way too go. Not all dishes are consistently good (eg smoked salmon at breakfast ). But for a hotel restaurant it is much better than average
Delicious homemade pasta! Really good sized portions and prices! Highly recommend! In the center of the city, right near the river!
Good go to place for business dinner
A good choice for our pre-matinee lunch before heading to Lyric Opera. Service was attentive and friendly.
Dining room on the second level was comfortable and attractive, with terrific views of City Hall and the threatened former State of Illinois building. A little too loud as the lunch crowd filled the room, but tolerable.
Our appetizer and lunch choices were delicious, fresh and well-prepared. Seasoned olive oil and bread basket also very tasty. We didn't have cocktails, but coffee was freshly prepared for us, and also of good quality.
Waiter was friendly but not obsequious. Two of us had the salmon, which we agreed was the best we'd ever tasted-- perfectly prepared and beautiful to look at! Hadn't been back in a while, will make the next trip sooner rather than later.
Relaxed atmosphere combined with great service and reasonably priced food that tasted good made for a great date night. Location was perfect for a pre-show dinner. Walking distance from at least three major dowtown theatres. Look forward to our next visit.
Great service. Authentic food. What else could you ask for??
A truly superb experience. Dined here with 4 other diners, all international, all with experience travelling in Italy (including myself). Everything was perfect. Whitefish entree, pomodori salad, cocktails, wine, dessert, and coffee. I am already recommending this restaurant to friends.
food was great and great value. Our server was very friendly and helpful
The service was terrific - the food was great - and our request for a quiet space was honored. This is an exceptional restaurant and I am always thrilled to share it with people who haven't been to 312 before.
Very nice restaurant! Only one recommendation. We came to celebrate an engagement and did not expect anything special beforehand. But a few nights prior, I received a phone call asking if it was for a special occasion. I informed them yes for an engagement, which then I was expecting us to get a complimentary glass of wine or something similar. We only received a "congratulations" card. Again, this is not a compliant, just a recommendation. If people are coming to celebrate such a special event, I believe there should be something more given than just a card. Otherwise, great place.
Great date spot by theaters. Halibut was done perfectly. Chicken had real flavor. Fritto Misto was flavorful. We would come back!
Just delicious!!! Service was great. I wasn’t comfortable at the initial table and they switched us no problem. I’d love to go again!!
Great food and service. Went for dinner before the show and they were very quick.
When I see homemade pasta dishes on a menu, I'm in. The tortellini did not disappoint...could've had another serving it was so yummy.
While I had one of the best pork chops ever, the menu was very small. Host staff very inviting but server struggled with menu and specials. 2 story dining space has potential but decor was worn and in need of updates or repair. Go for the food, but not the experience.
I had one of the specials -- sea bass. One of the best meals I have ever had.
